While skipping around the site I visited the members pages to try to catch any new vehicles which may have been posted. There are some interesting ones. While there I clicked on the posts tab at the top of the colume that registers the number of post by a member.

Lo and behold the action did a sort by volume, The usual suspects are in the top 10. Fine buncha blowhards all.........

Stuff is easier here and nobody's grading, thank goodness.

Not true;

I grade every one of the postings made by Norms Coupe:eek:

Interesting that over the last few years I have met face to face with 6 of the top 10 excluding myself.

Don I've got some catching up to do. Only met 3 of the top 10. You Greg and Merle. We'll have to get Norm out to the POC meet in WI this June. Bulletin with hotel details should be arriving shortly. I think its also got the coverage of the detroit meet in it.

Hey....I'm # 1 of the top 11-20. After reviewing my prifile photo Merle might bump me cause I gotta go paint my facia board and remove the Xmas lights on the car port.

The new forum required some folks to change their user names from the old format, I believe some info didn't carry over to the new screen name

So Reg, why not just paint over them? Get both tasks done in 1/2 the time.

I'm planning a road trip for this spring, probably in March and April. I'll be heading to Florida for something called the Black Dog Garage BBQ, and also the Lone Star Roundup in Austin TX, as well as maybe some fishing off the SW part of Florida. If all goes as planned, I'll be traviling with the P24 and teardrop, porta-bote on the roof, two doggies for my navigators. I'm hoping I get to meet some of our eastern members along the way.

Referring back to another current post.......in case some have missed it.....

how about using the "Location" line at upper right, and/or the "signature"

line at lower left.......to list both your location and also your make & model

of car(s). Accessed thru the User CP "control panel".

Many of us old(er) guys can't recall just where everyone is and

what they're working on. Thanks. (apologies to those who have

already done so)

It should also be mentioned you can't see the signatures unless you turn that option on in the user cp.

Hmm.......didn't know that list existed. Guess I will have to sit things out for awhile and let the Old Guy in the number 2 spot take over.:D Don't care to be in the number 1 spot.

Ed, still not sure if I'll make it out to Oconomowoc for the POC meet. Time will tell. But.......if I don't we can always meet up somewhere around here since you'll also be doing a little sight seeing. I think you guys have a tour to the Hartford Auto Museum scheduled. If so, and it's around lunch, the Mine Shaft in Hardford (lunch or dinner) is a great place for a meal. It's on the main drag only a few blocks from the museum.

Young Ed;

Looks like I will be in Miniapolis at least twice between now and June. First time will be in February. Guess I should have told my boss I sold all my winter clothes in 93 when I left Buffalo.

Reg;

As I excluded my self from one of the top ten posters you are included in the 6 that I mentioned as having met. A month or three ago Merle was in Smashville. We spoke on the phone but unfortunately did not have a chance to meet face to face.

Old guy? You have me whopped in that talley as you are the old talley man.

Now if we count quality postings (me) not quanity (you) you are not in first

place.:D

For all the newbys on this forum here are a couple of pictures. First is my

good friends Norms Coupe' date=' His wife Mary, and Bob Toft taking a ride in the

back seat of my race car. Next is a picture of Bob, Norm, and I standing in

front of my race car. It is obvious I beat them both in the looks department

as well as the "high mieleage P-15 driver" department as I have over 25,000

miles on my race car.

Interesting list and I feel like I know a lot of people from the forum although I have never met any. That's not true as I am pretty sure I have met RalphD25cpe and I even think we are in the same car club. I have not seen him since I realized he is on the forum. We both have D25 club coupes. His is the lighter one and mine is the darker one.

Hi Robert,You guessed right, Ralph d25cpe aka Ralph Turner.With this winter weather I feel in danger of becoming a "reclusive tinkerer" although I've spent more time shovelling snow than I have in the garage.I'm beginning to think those who head south in the winter along with the ducks and geese have the right idea.I'm lookig forward to the early bird swap meet in Feb.Thanks for posting photos of my coupe-in the sun.It's looking somewhat frigid at the moment.:)

Hi Ralph, glad you didn't mind me posting pictures of your car; I didn't think you would. Yes, I am getting tired of snow too and we are forecast to get a bunch more tonight. I have a huge drift behind my garage and couldn't get my cars out if I wanted to.
