  4. This is the dealership in Utica, NY that sold my car brand new. I have no idea if the building is still standing
  5. I had a Model T stopped in last summer, our Granddaughter Adele got to sit in it

  9. Has anyone bought a new reproduction gas tank from Bernbaum's? The page says 1940 thru 1948. Just wondering, thanks, Bob
  10. Chis, I have to ask, did you or have you pulled the radiator yet, and if so, did you pull the front clip off, or remove the water pump to get at the radiator? My crank pulley split on me last month, to change it I pulled the water pump off to get at the radiator so I could remove that also. It was a lot of work, and to be honest with you, I think it would have been easier to pull the front clip to get at the pulley. I will say thanks to Sears for the rachet wrench, which made it much easier to get at the bottom center bolt on the water pump. I have it all back together now, thanks to my son as he is the professional mechanic, I know just enough to be dangerous LOL

  14. John, A number of years ago I bought a few items for my Plymouth from Easy Jack's
  15. I can't speak for the other Chrysler products of 1940, but on the 1940 Plymouth the center division far was painted the same color as the car, and I do believe my is pot metal also as Robert mentioned

  21. Here is a photo that I found recently of my Mother with her sister and brothers, with her Mom and another lady. Does anyone know the make and model of the car? Mom is the little girl on the rear of the running board, she was born in Sept of 1929 if that helps Thanks, Bob
  22. Check with Dave at Fat Fendered Relics, he may be able to help with the windshield trim and fender trim. If you can get a pattern for the windshield glass, any good automotive glass company can cut it for you. Good luck, Bob
