  1. Here is a photo of a 1940 Plymouth that appears to have that same paint scheme as the Dodge.
  2. Were there any 1948 Pontiacs with the Stainless Hood centers and grille? Thanks for the photos. Where is Coffeyville, OK in comparison to Fletcher and Apache, OK? My son and his wife live in Apache. Thanks again, Bob

  6. e-brake works fine, just didn't use it. I was in first gear. New Clutch this Spring, but I suppose it could be a problem, Compression, I am sure that is a problem, but will check these all out once the weather says no more driving. Thanks everyone for the replies, they are greatly appreciated
  7. I was out and about in my Plymouth today, parked on an incline, not too steep, shut the car off in first gear without the e-brake on. The car would roll some, stop, roll some, stop. Any ideas what I should be looking for in the tranny this winter? Thanks, Bob

I have had my 1940 P-10 Business coupe since 1988, not a show car by any means, but a driver. They are a fun car to drive, again, congratulations and good luck with your coupe. Bob
  12. It will come off, just be patient, plus make sure you have the castle nut on backwards and flush with the end of your axle, don't need to break your leg when the drum pops
  13. Glad you both are home safe and sound and that the Dodge ran so well. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us Bob
