  1. I have been having the same problems as you have been describing, here is what appears to be the problem. Knowing enough to be dangerous, I am thinking that the armature is no longer functionable
  2. I got a first place ribbon for the photo of the Plymouth in the shadows of the lilac tree and third place for the view through the bridge at our local fair yesterday. Needless to say I am pleased
  3. I tried them, good but not good enough to buy again
  4. I am trying to imagine what deep fried Oreos would taste like, but I expect to answer that question tonight at our local fair.......................

  6. Joe, we need photos of your outings PLEASE. I am so pleased that you are getting to enjoy her. I have aftermarket signal lights and switch that were installed by the original owners. I have had to replace the bulbs, but the switch is the original one they installed
  7. Joe, Congratulations on your first outing, whether it is two miles or 200 miles, all your hard work is pay dividends. You must have felt very pleased. Here is to many more successful miles of driving enjoyment

  11. Years ago there was a man just outside of Oxford, NY that had buildings full of Crosleys in various stages. He has since passed away and all if not most of the Crosleys were auctioned off
  12. I wonder if there will be any Airflows there today? Don if you go and there is, could you please take a few photos of them

  15. I found this photo on ebay of a 1940 Desoto engine with this air cleaner with something that appears to be a galvanized shield around the carb. My air cleaner on my 1940 Plymouth is the same, but I don't have that galvanized shield. Is that an original part to the Desoto engines? Thanks

Mark and Greg, I so wish I could join you three, I will in spirit, but that weekend is my wife's birthday (July 12) and to be honest with you, I trust the old Plymouth in our area, but I don't really want to be breaking down far from home. I do my best to keep her mechanically safe and sound, but....... Thanks for the offer, it was greatly appreciated, I hope you three have fun and I am looking forward to lots of Photos and stories, Bob
