yes but the engine only has about 2 hours on it. All in the garage.

I've run the engine for a few hours before. Checked the coil on the meter. 1.5ohm - to + and 8.8 - to coil wire. But now no spark at the points at all.

new everything. plugs, wires points, condenser and coil.

I was thinking coil also but wasn't sure. Don't have access to another 6 volt coil but I'll check the wire. \

Ran my coupe about 10 minutes last week. It died and I couldn't get it restarted. I figured that I had flooded it so I left it for a week. Still won't even try and start. Lots of spark at the points but when I put a spark light on the plugs I get two or three good sparks and then very few. Getting plenty of gas. I'm not a mechanic. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

My builder gave me heck of a deal I guess. 2 years ago $1500. Included everything new and his shop is only 8 miles from me.

rings stick in the grooves allowing bypass. Low to no compression. Valves are a likely source as well.

put some atf/MMO in the cylinders and wait a couple of days. Rings are most likely stuck. If you can get it running they usually free up within an hour or less.

Would you be interested in trying to make a mold and a few sets of lenses? I have one uncracked original lense and one cracked one.

before they were used to make a mold mine would need a couple of small inperfections fixed. the best one has a few small chips near one screw hole and the other has some cracks going across the midle flat.
