  1. LOL, sounds like he is taking him off the trailer today.... shouldn’t be too much longer ?
  2. That is great, very happy for you! and I know that tired feeling as well from a 600mile tow. But always worth it. congrats!
  3. Negative. Can I use your employee discount?
  4. Lol, psst. Tod it a “teaser”...... he didn’t say what day the forecast is for, or even where. but, I’ll bet it will be close so ? can’t wait!
  5. Sure felt good to get to work on the truck this weekend. We had an ice event two weeks ago, took out the power for 12days. And between my job, helping neighbors and keeping things warm and dry at home, the truck got pushed aside (again) Still trying to get it movable for the BBQ in April but, the loss of 6days (two weekends) kinda feels like I may not make it, with only 10 days left to work on him. Still have to finish; swapping rear drums, master cylinder, booster, lines from “Buck” Then install new fuel pump, ignition switch and the old gas tank.... then test drive ? At times it seems overwhelming, but I remind myself..... it’s just a hobby ?
  6. On an unrelated topic (for educational purposes only ?) anyone know if the input shaft on a column shift FD is the same as a floor shift FD?
  7. The rub rails could be a clue, from the literature I’ve seen with factory flat bed/ stake beds, there is a “bend” on the lower part, around the outer wheel. That stands out to me. Both of mine are after market “DYI” beds I like your bed a lot
  8. Lol, you mean “hayseed Dixie”? ?
  9. Looks like a solid truck I agree with JB, I look for a free spinning motor, rusted thru door bottoms and floor boards..... I would imagine you’ll want to go through the brakes yourself Really doesn’t matter but, ever time I’ve seen the original “trumpet horn” replaced, the original engine has been swapped...... but, that is just my experience (I mention it as more of a bargain chip for you than a deal breaker ?) For giggles, look the vin up on the register https://www.t137.com/registry/help/decode.php oh, probably is but, make sure your trailer is long enough for a 126” wb
  10. I was just curious, if it were me i’d be proud of the 2-1/2 and change the tag back ? suppose it really doesn’t matter except when ordering or questions regarding suspension, brakes or engine Was the tank missing?
  11. I can just hear it, I’ll bet when you talk about your COE outside this forum, you tell people, “ yea, I’ve hauled a “CAT” on the back before” ? I am with Wallytoo, i’d Be surprised if it is 218 Dan, and from the photo i’d Guess 152” WB?
  12. Welcome Dan! I like it a lot. More photos when you get it home. What are the plans for it? From the part manual, I would guess the glass to be the same....you may have already seen http://dodgepilothouseclub.org/know/ph_parts/b_23.pdf but, like Merle said flat glass can be duplicated. Are you only running one rear wheel on both sides? safe travels, Brent
  13. Same except for the b4 series tank (mount and fuel pick up different) is your B3J really a 1-1/2ton? Funny timing you ask this, Someone removed the tank on my B3GA and put an auxiliary tank...... I was cleaning it out today and making some better straps for it
  14. I am with sniper, I find myself resisting the urge on price but, not on the year or size. don't list your 1 ton as a 3 ton or your 53 as a 48! I will call you out on it ? that said, I will also take advantage of you not knowing what you have... LOL
  15. That looks exactly like where I live, except the Mountain View, snow, sun rise, all that color ?just kidding Can’t wait to see it firsthand, bought our tickets last month, gonna do the tourist thing in June this year. flying into Fairbanks, renting a vehicle, going to Denali, then to Anchorage then back home to the grayness Woo hoo, fish on!!! ?
  16. LOL, Wow, snubbed at BTT50’s and now your putting down my rims I am here to “con”vince you Split “rings” not rims ? (inset tongue spitting emoji here)
  17. Julie and I went to Michigan in August, flew into Chicago “O” and it was pleasantly empty! Probably 4x the size of PDX with as many people ? rented a car and drove to the destination. LOL on a side note, ask Linda to pack light I’ll pm you with my parts list ?
  18. I would have guessed the paint chart you show, to be for cars..... did you look here? http://dodgepilothouseclub.org/know/color/imgcol/index.htm
  19. Congrats! get to to work on that b3 knock, the bbq in Lodi is just around the corner ?
  20. LOL, I used my granny gear to cruise out of BTT50’s in 2019, the smell of rain made 1000 cars leave at once ?
  21. Bump, ? been a few years since this thread and a lot of new members.....
  22. Couple to add to the pile ? “b” series seat adjustment pin replacement seat to back re enforcement
  23. Looks great, ? have fun with it Dave
  24. So funny, I found and bought a NOS set for the rear but, one is missing a 1-1/2” piston. The front, I bought a set from “Rock Auto” but, they just look cheap to me. So, I ended up sending all the old ones to Hagens in Washington ?. I’ve had them do three other trucks for me and been happy (and they are about $30. Per cylinder less from the others) Minnesota brake and equipment was my #2 choice because they also use stainless Thanks for the zerk info guys!
  25. I think we are back in business ? Say, does anyone know the thread size of zerk fitting for the carrier bearing? (It is missing)
