  1. Search his content. I believe he bought it chopped, then started a thread and made some changes.
  2. For the cowl vent, I believe. **EDIT** The pic is a little fuzzy, so I may have mistaken the exact rod you're referring to. **2nd EDIT** Link for parts (pros and cons with Steele), brown pedal pads, etc.: http://www.steelerubber.com/search?year=1940&make=plymouth&model=deluxe-p10&style=2-door-sedan
  3. Looks great....new avatar?
  4. Take 2 aspirin, convert to 12V and use 12V-6V reducers and be done. Or, just leave it 6V and be done.
  5. I have a friend who was so paranoid, that if we took our motorcycles out, he would put his helmet over his plate when we parked them. All somebody had to do was lift it up for a second or watch him pull away to get a look at it. But I digress, carry on with the build.
  6. If you drill "speed holes" in them, it will go REALLY fast. And those bias ply tires make all the difference in the world, perfect look.
  7. I have YOM plates for my '62 motorcycle & my '38 Plymouth. The Calif. DMV issues 2 tabs (look like square Mickey Mouse ears) for the month/year stickers and they bolt to your plate. In the 6 years I've owned my car, I have never used the tabs or displayed the month/year stickers. I do carry them with my registration & maybe I've been lucky that an officer hasn't been behind me. Besides, it's a "fix-it" ticket and most everyone knows "someone" that will take care of it.
  8. JEALOUS!!!!!!!
  9. Maybe I'm missing something, it seems it would be easier to convert to 12V negative ground.
  10. How about some pics/specs of your Plymouth powered '34 Ford?
  11. It's been 1 day & 484 views (most of which are a few viewing it quite a few times) give it a year or 2 for a response. All kidding aside, this isn't the HAMB, as far as traffic goes and the hot rodders are a minority. I've got the usual bolt on crap on my little 201 ci motor, but even if it was a HP built motor, could care less about dyno #'s. My '62 Panhead is stroked & fast, still don't care about #'s....just fun to ride. Check with Earl Edgerton.....http://www.edgyspeedshop.com/index2.html
  12. 200,000
  13. Looking great, no more holes that don't belong.
  14. How many of these cars really start on a bump.....with all the hard start threads on here?
  15. It does look higher without the front bumper, but in MY opinion, it definitely needs to be lowered all around.......but that's the way I like 'em. The whole "lowered" thing is a topic that has been beaten to death, hopefully you get the stance you're looking for.
  16. Here is the link: http://www.t137.com/registry/help/otherengines/otherengines.php
  17. And I'd gladly pay more for that reason.
  18. Any pics of it installed?
  19. Can you enlighten me on those statements.
  20. Welcome....VERY nice car, I prefer the taildragger look. I like my car with the rear down/nose up.....I like my women the opposite. I used Posie's Super Slider 3" lowered rear springs, removed a couple leafs & added 1" blocks. Post some pics of the flathead.
  21. Here are a couple options from page 1.
  22. Everyone knows the 3rd is Radio Flyer.
  23. Was wondering how long it would take.
  24. This is from their catalog for the Diamond Back II: Toyo has one of America’s newest and most modern facilities in White, GA. Most sizes are built in the US but some sizes are still built in other facilities. Built in other facilities, to me, means some another country. Did you confirm the size(s) you need are Made in the USA?
  25. Skimmed right over the Amsterdam part.
