  1. First, welcome to the forum, a lot of great info here. Second, post parts for sale in the classifieds, so this thread doesn't get locked. Third, the search function can be your best friend....most likely, whatever info you're looking for, it's probably been discussed. Good luck and pics are always welcome.
  2. Here's an ad in the classifieds that might help:http://p15-d24.com/classifieds/item/1180-1948-51-truck-parts/
  3. Much better stance, looks great......still waiting for pics of the flathead.
  4. Posies sells 3" lowering springs for the rear, not cheap, but safer than going with lowering blocks and ending up with scrub line issues. As for the front, I think some have used the Aerostar springs and moved the spring pocket to the underside of the lower A-arm to get it lower. Hopefully someone who has done this will chime in, as I have front leaf springs on an early car, but do have the Posies rear springs.
  5. O'Neill Park???? Santiago Canyon????
  6. Not a fan of more doors at all, but, lowrider's seem to take more pride than most in their vehicles, when it comes to bombs.
  7. Pics of the dual master install/location. I have an earlier car, just curious how you mounted it.
  8. There are 2 versions on a cell phone, the "full version" and another version (not sure what the designation is). I'm usually on the other version and while reading a thread, tap on the post you want to quote & a "quote" tab should appear near the bottom right of that post, then do as you normally would when quoting a post. Not sure how to multi-quote though. This works for me.
  9. Would the hub from a more readily available Plymouth or Dodge work? Separate your hub and drum and do the same with the replacement, press some studs in the replacement hub & re-use your drum. I'm not familiar with the Chrysler rear ends, so this may not be an option.
  10. Really?????
  11. Another subject that has been cussed and discussed thousands of times on The Garage Journal. May be worth looking into.
  12. .....and pay for something, then get strung along for months on end, send unanswered e-mails, make unanswered phone calls....etc,etc.
  13. The only thing I do to prepare my car for winter is grab a jacket for myself.
  14. Check out:http://www.garagejournal.com/ More threads on fluorescent lighting for garages, etc. than you have time to read. Here is the sub-forum for lighting/electrical:http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=30 **EDIT** Probably LED also.
  15. 15" wide rims.......it's going to take some pretty big meats to fit those.
  16. Don't you already have a thread on beauty rings? Why not just add to that thread?
  17. Looks like every other bumper jack from every other manufacturer.
  18. George Asche (814)354-2621. Very nice and happy to answer any questions you have.
  19. Welcome, VERY NICE! Love the color, engine, everything, but I'd look into getting a new parking brake, must be a pain to put that brick in front of the tire every time you park.....seriously though, perfect looking car. I'm sure Andy will chime in.
  20. Pick up a service manual for the car....ebay possibly. The book version is better than the disc version, you can place it on the car while working on it. Good luck with it.
  21. Same here, no picture. Must be the ultra high-tech invisible dash.
  22. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/tech-week-emboss-your-valve-cover.994437/#post-11203562
  23. It's all about location, location, location. If I lived in Indiana, I'd be able to afford 2 Ferrari's also......ok, maybe 1.........../24th scale.
  24. I like the fact you're not worried about posting the plate on the internet. Some people cover them up in photos, like someone from across the country is going to travel 2,000 miles to steal a 4 door whatever. Looking forward to the disc/dual master thread.
  25. Another one for Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
