  5. Fred, your truck is looking good!
  6. A couple more from the Gallitzin Tunnel.
  7. A couple more pictures. Gallitzin Tunnel The Lemon House Skew Arch underpass along the Huntingdon, Cambria, Indiana Turnpike. One of the Altoona Resevoirs. An all too common site today.
  8. We took a Mystery Tour today based around Altoona, PA and its railroading history. Some of the stops were closed due to the government shutdown but it was a beautiful day for a drive. First stop Altoona Railroaders Museum. A view of the Cathedral from the rail yard. The old switch tower at Altoona, PA. The Horseshoe Curve
  9. 15amps is 15amps but as TodFitch says the dc will be harder on the switch. In an application such as yours I would use them with no worries. On an industrial machine with several make/break cycles a minute I would look for a dc rated switch.
  10. My generator has been getting a little noisy and the ammeter has been getting erratic on my '41 Dodge. I have a spare from a '50 Plymouth that I got with some drive train parts I bought off a rod conversion. I was surprised to find a couple differences. First on my old one the Field and Armature terminals are on a horizontal plane along the length of the generator. The other has them on a circumferential line around the generator. I also had to use the top adjusting bracket from the '50 because the '41 bracket was too short. Of course I had to remove the fan and pulley from the water pump to get the bracket bolt out of the block. Yes it goes into the water jacket. All in all a couple hour job. Works great now though. Ready for leaf peeping season. I will rebuild the old one and keep it available as a spare.
  11. Looking good. I like the color too.
  12. I have attached a schematic with the brake light system marked with red. The red X's identify the wires and the components they connect to are circled in red. Hope that helps.
  13. Great picture and sounds like a fun event.
  14. Nice job!
  15. I suspect a full flow oil filter is attached there.
  16. Edited. The diagram I was posting was not P15.
  17. Head gasket replacement is fairly easily done at any time, I would leave it alone, if it isn't broke, why fix it? You could re-torque the head bolts if you want. Have fun with your project. I look forward to updates.
  18. Hope you are having a great trip, enjoy!
  19. Your car looks great. I love that '65 dodge.
  20. My wife and I compiled a list last fall. We counted 61 vehicles between us. If I could have one back it would be my '70 Roadrunner or '70 Duster or '73 Cuda or.......
  21. Nice pics Bob! Looks like a fantastic day!
