store any POR15 in the fridge....low humindity. Also put a layer of plastic wrap on the lid when you close it so it doesn't lock the lid down. I have some POR15 that is from my build ~10 yeas ago I still dip into for small stuff. Also don't put it on unless you are well ventilated. -
I like AEROKROIL.

POR15 cures with humidity....also SOME of the product is not UV stable, so be careful in where and which. -

good times! Had a nice relaxing time not thinking about the steaming piles of poo at work! I'll post some pics when I have time. Can't wait till next year! -
Few steps further along. Thinking this is how the top "corner" will be. Gaps will all have to be "normailzed" with weld wire welded to the door edges at some point. Next steps will be to skin the doors and build up the inside.

Wrench well at the pearly gates Gary! Will miss him this year. -
define "pot metal"..... Zamak has some decent properties depending on which version picked https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zamak https://www.makeitfrom.com/compare/Grey-Cast-Iron/Zamak-3-ASTM-AG40A-Z33520-Mazak-3-Zinc-Alloy

I've made parts out of several of the ZAMAK materials family. Properly designed and used they work well. But yes, WAY cheaper than cast iron.

Yes you want the front face to spin. The notch on the cable end goes in a half moon to keep things aligned horizontally. Every NOS knob I have (all on FEF) are back with WHITE lettering).

The front track also might need adjusting. Also some dry lube in the felts works wonders. -

Frozen Four will be done before the Q this year....hopefully the Gophers bring home the bling and leave the STINKIN BADgers in the dust (like last night's game). We don't need no stinking BADgers....
