  1. I have a 1948 Dodge D25 .I've scanned a page from the Canadian Chrysler Passenger Car Parts List 1940-1948 . The part numbers you need for the rear bumper are at the bottom of this page, ( my 1948 Dodge falls within those listed in Note "A"). The Canadian Dodge D25 and Plymouth P15 share the same part numbers .The U.S. Plymouth P15 uses different part numbers for the bumpers. The part number for the front bumper face bar is 1118319 and is the same for both the Canadian Plymouth P15 and the Canadian Dodge D25.
  2. Hey Don, Sorry to hear you are under the weather,I also missed the post on February 14th.... Although I may have a couple of years on you ,Don - You are one of my heroes . I have always enjoyed reading your many replies to enquiries for information on this forum, and although on occasion, your replies maybe perhaps been a little abrupt … (Paraphrasing)….I been there and I done that, here are the photos - Always very helpful indeed. Thank you. Don. Ralph
  3. I always keep in mind that distributor R.P.M. is one half of engine R.P.M....(engine R.P.M. 800 = distributor R.P.M.400) ?
  4. Personally , I have no desire to visit Cuba...The vintage cars that are displayed on the streets of Havana in travel ads may be an attraction for some... and while I am not a" purist" , from what I gather, the cars pictured in the travel ads, up close would for the most part maybe rank a "two" dressed up as a "ten"....I could be wrong. As I mentioned - I won't be making the trip to gather facts to back up my impressions...?
  5. It appears as though in the photo the required linkage is missing?
  6. Hey, Knuckleharley... Sincerely, I hope everything works out in your favour….I enjoy reading your input on all topics ...
  7. Well Fred, As a fellow Canadian,(polite), you might well be to be referring to me in the category - quote "I cant get over how some of youse, have all kinda projects on the go".. Personally myself ,while not "well heeled"..well past worrying about making any money on a hobby and interest I totally enjoy . Keep in mind not everyone in the hobby is "Vanilla Flavoured"?
  8. To make the change , select "Member Title"
  9. On the top right the profile page, there is an "edit profile" ,click on that square and it should come up with the appropriate page...I just changed my rank from "Senior" to "Grasshopper"...? Oh, I forgot when you make the change, click "Save"
  10. A forum member may change their "rank" by editing their profile...
  11. I also lean towards the fuel delivery diagnosis (insufficient pressure). As you mention above, the problem happens after driving 2 miles from your driveway...Do you perhaps have an uphill climb at that distance which would require more throttle to maintain speed?
  12. Agree finding points with the phenolic rubbing block... I also use a small dab of Dow Corning 4 behind the block.
  13. I had to chuckle reading your reply, brought back memories,,,,no cell phones back then. LOL
  14. My daughter, (knowing my interests), gave me some manuals this Christmas she had collected through the year .I will be adding them to my modest library of automotive literature. The U.S. Military Automotive manual is one that I have not yet read, although I am sure some of you on this forum are quite familiar with it...
  15. Possibly the last reference on this forum to Harley Davidson?...LOL
  16. If you require drilling the front stone guard for the brackets, I would suggest using a step drill bit of the proper size to match the (inside) diameter of the slot in the rubber grommet.
  17. This appears to be a very good product to have on hand in the event of an emergency to treat a bleeding wound...Speaking for myself, I might suggest adding to the kit a "small" vial of "Everclear, for prepping the wound ,to be applied externally of course.. wink, wink ,nudge, nudge LOL
  18. Certainly a more reasonable idea than resorting to installing ,"ball bearing Bettie"?
  19. Wow! Looking at photos of the event, according to the news, thankfully there were no serious injuries
  20. Don, Thank you for the correction on who recorded the song back in the day … I will still enjoy memories of hearing the song even though it may no longer be playing on the radio . LOL
  21. "Sign Of the Times"... I read today that a song I've heard on the radio since a youngster, (now an oldster , passed 75), and that I've heard played on the radio this time of year as long as I can remember, (recorded by Doris Day and Bing Crosby), the song "Baby It's Cold Outside" apparently now has been judged as inappropriate and unfit for airplay on the radio...?
  22. Nice truck - nice tree - flagging tape attached...we're on our way . Have a Merry Christmas! ☺️
