you confusing the thread, first you ask for a positive ground diagram as you could not find one, tell you how to do thjs by using the negative diagram and then just reverse the polarity marks on the battery....and now you compare that to the diagram for a positive ground which if you already had this diagram, what is the question.
-
again, polarity is not a factor, you state 6 volt version of the bosch 5 pin relay. notice energizing coil pins 86 and 85 are NOT marked for polarity also notice the pin 30 and 87 (NO normally open) switched contacts are not marked IN or OUT....you will not use pin 87a (NC normally closed) in the center and can break it off if you want. Further you can copy a drawing from the internet, take a pencil and erase the plus and minus on the battery and reverse these marking....Bob's your uncle.

I had a learning experience back in the late 80's after buying a battery from a well known seller in my area. TDY trip out of state, battery failed there, regardless of warranty there was no place near to make good on the warranty. Solution, Walmart and buy a battery and pay the core fee so to be able to get the battery replaced when I got home. They did hem and haw a bit but made good on the battery and core fee in the form of a full refund. Since then I buy from Walmart simply for the fact that their batteries are top notch and if needed you are not far from a Walmart for service. Many other retail sellers of batteries will hold your battery for 24 hour testing period and are you prepared to pay for a hotel should you be out of town....? More than just initial costs involved.

personal choice, oil bath the better system overall and still used in production of equipment that see such environments where dust and dirt the greater issue. Paved road and such have gone the way of the Dodo for daily commute. I swapped mine to dry paper cartridge just for the fact I likely would tip if over and make a mess when servicing the car with it off.....the conversion is easy and when done right not one you will readily notice.

High Quality H4 Headlights for 12v Cars (Cheap!!)
Plymouthy Adams replied to Sam Buchanan's topic in P15-D24 Forum
those lights do sound like a good deal for certain. I have a set of the ones shown here and as compared to the Kioto ones at the dealership....that for no other way than to say totally lucked upon finding a set NIB to begin with but, 10.00 was the ultimate BUY OF THE DAY......This likely will be used in one of the sports cars on hand and not in my mopars. -
The actual capacity is stated in the repair manual on the lubrication chart. It is not specified in the box with the picture of the differential and interval for checking/changing but rater in the legends at bottom right corner under capacities...the amount is 3 1/2 pints.

these are feral, domestic mixed with Russian I believe.....they are not what you really call aggressive but then I have never tried to corner one either.....perhaps some here have seen the Nat'l Geo documentary on the PIG BOMB in the Abbeville GA not that far from here. These you can shoot night or day 24/7. They can devastate a farm field in one night...lol Some times when sitting out by the fire pit on the patio I can hear the hogs in the woods off from my west orchard and the coyotes to the east just across the rail road track.

If the animal is not destroying anything he is usually not disturbed. I seem to have at least one family of bunnies on the place annually and they do no harm to plants and flowers. I protect all my lizards and frogs from predators shooing away feral and wandering cats. If the snakes are not rattlers or copperheads they get free reign also. Possums come and go, get an occasional owl hunting mice/moles near the security lights. My only real issues are the squirrels who by the way carted off tons of pears, peaches, apples and such. I will not get the first pear this year and it was loaded with fruit. Second the stray armadillo, filled a burrow just last week in the east orchard if they did not dig deep holes would give them free passage but they like homesteading. Third problem is the stray cats who like to stalk the birds at the fountain. Had a young bald eagle while back swoop a squirrel out of the west orchard, amazed at seeing this majestic bird in my yard......I would build him a tree condo if he would stick around and continue the round up. I hate deer with a passion, but I also will not shoot them though it would benefit society at large, they are usually way from the house in the east or west orchards....the deer are/can be a destructive beast which I have no real problem on the property, but secondly, they are an accident waiting to happen on the highways and a risk to all. The farms and fields of the smaller farmer now gone to seed and overgrown afford them coverage and they have exploded in population. Wild pigs are everywhere but they seem to like following the streams.

am sure it has many "END" uses.....

the TRW rack in smaller GM cars with center links connecting rod...been years since this was really gone over in depth. I searched my local files and found some of the install data but did not see the file where I had the bracket templates. These could well be found, complete with the manner to located the brackets to prevent bump steer via searching this forum. type in +cavalier +rack and you will get some 9 pages related to the subject. Hope this will help you.

Steering Box Replacements 1948 Plymouth
Plymouthy Adams replied to hotrodbob's topic in P15-D24 Forum
no I am not saying any of the above nor making excuses for any of the above...just stating regardless of the part seller...it seems the source of the part is what it is all boiling down to. I will admit to stating that moparpro has tried to bring some new blood into the arena but sadly we all know the source of the blood. I am hoping he has done and continues to do battle with the quality and due to limited marketing he has compared to the many OTC outlet stores may have done more than they combined. I just don't know....The big box store will refund your money but you still out the time and trouble and loss of supplies like brake fluid shop towels and the sort for a failed job. Just saying he is not the only guy in the picture and should not be the only guy that gets shot at.......you have your horror stories with him where I have had successful dealing and on the other hand my horror story is the with one vendor many hold in high esteem. This venue is the place for airing this but often frowned upon and thus best to let it be said, tread carefully, do your own research and buy prudently. I know it sounds as though I am defending him and in truth it is just that I am not stating the lies and bad parts I have received from other sellers. -
when you're good...you're good......

not out to prove anyone wrong any more than I want you to eat your hat, in this weather you going to need that for protection....and as you express you will not deal with moparpro bothers me none in the least....and totally your call. I gain or lose nothing in that equation But at the same token....seems when you get down to the brass tacks, every time someone does a brake job on these cars with OTC parts there are horror stories out the yang...we talking buying so call respectable brand names here also. Wagner, Raybestos for two, yet the failure rates seem very high and why...the source of the part being made...not the seller, Advance, Napa, Oreilly Autozone etc etc. and lets just for grins throw in the fuel pump...I will stop there as we all know the current world part situation. -
I bought a long while back a .17 HMR figuring it to be a good caliber rifle for small varmint. Sadly I have yet to shoot the dang thing. But yeah, ground hog is a rather tough little varmint and I prefer if you got to get rid of the little fellow, end him quick with little suffering. I can only pull the trigger on a squirrel or armadillo right now....these guys are my most destructive yard invaders. I have shot armadillo with .357 magnum defensive loads only to have the run some 75 feet before falling over. Thinking I just nicked the animal, rolled him over, the entire chest cavity was missing exiting the backside....these critters are tough with just a body shot. 22 in the head, drop dead kill shot. I do not relish shooting them nor do I like stepping into a burrow at the edge of my shrubs.

and is that any different from what I am doing? Agree to disagree is key here with no anger....I totally respect your expressed thoughts, why does it seem you cannot allow me mine....again, not picking a battle with anyone....just stating it is a two way street. I still refuse to call out vendors here for the most part....we have so few and well it is always a fact nothing goes 100% 100% of the time. -

well if he was ever the first and last person to lie to you along the way, you my man are surely one blessed individual. Never said any of fair or ethical...only that this often the business model some follow. Where I live it is simple as this...you buying the seller has the best of all and wants the most, if you selling you have the worst of the worst and I am doing you a favor to even consider your junk. Same story different town, making of a Hallmark movie.....only the names are changes in the story line. But I sure know what you are saying and know this happens and really, did you expect different? -
I bought a Route Van…
Plymouthy Adams replied to Merle Coggins's topic in Mopar Flathead Truck Forum
a route van could really be ....the source of your bread and butter. I wonder if Jewel Tea ever used the route van...I remember a couple small Dodge panels of my youth out on route delivery and small store restock. -

buy low sell high........everyone wishes to work that way.....not everyone can do it.....it is capitalism at its finest..I am sure you were listing on e-bay those coils for a profit...!!! I can assure you he is not the only one using such tactics....it is prevalent in all levels and genre of business. Nothing surprises me in this hobby anymore. For every horror story with moparpro there is always the same horror stories with your favorite seller. Just a fact of life. -

I was not out to sting anyone, probably banged Mike up more than anyone else, I merely tried depicting the manner in which things seem to continue on the forum and for the old mopars in general. It is now and will always be a world where never does all agree and or work harmoniously. To that end was the gist of my comment...like it or not he is filling a niche in the industry. To me I would like to see more of this. I was not challenging you directly, the comment may have come off that way, but it was to be basically he has speculated, invested and marketed products for the hobby where no one else has stepped to the plate. I do not have the interest to provide such, nor will I commit any monies toward such. I assure you he and I went toe to toe a few times, may still be part of the forum pages. .....do I hold a grudge, I like to think not, will I be wary, I can only hope I never let that guard down at any time for anyone. I have had less than a handful of deals with him both as providing stock to his NOS offerings and as a buyer for a couple of his parts finds. It is a two-way street and at no time is a deal forced on the other. Maybe there is some mutual respect between us yet that he entertains offers I have sent. Would like to think it is just sound business practices. I respect your decision not to buy for him and do not need to know the particulars. Just trying to say in truth, we can all co-exist and lead the hobby in our way. I -
I cannot vouch for the S10 pins and bushing.....I can say there are plenty of door hinge pins and bushing available....most all needs are based on stock size and your closest oversize to ream for the pin. I would suggest to carefully approach oversize to least needed each repair for ability to continue should you have failure or premature wear. I cannot attest to the material used in the new pins to be equivalent to that of YOM stock.

New guy here: 1949 Plymouth Super Deluxe
Plymouthy Adams replied to 1949plymouthdeluxe's topic in P15-D24 Forum
what are your voltage and amp readings when properly tested....and in what manner or state of use were these readings taken.....have you followed the actual step by step instructions in the manual? by following these you are led systematically through the trouble shooting so you will not be probing helter skelter with no questions if doing things right, is what I read what I am SUPPOSED to read at this test point/time. -
that basic pump can be found in a box with a myriad of names on the label..... They are not expensive, they are easy to install and if you buy one, buy two if using as the primary pusher so you will never be stranded....connectorized them the same and swap on the highway is bing bam boom done...failure to have a redundancy plan is on you more than the fault of the product.
-
while they all share basically the very same components....the manner and place of assembly still plays an important part in the successful marriage of parts to produced product. I would never consider buying a Jeep product as an entity....I am not sure you can even get a car in basic introduction level anymore. I bought the last year they offered baseline in 2015...found it discontinued when I consider a new car for mums....and with bad taste in my mouth over the 'software' issues of ownership and use....many companies uploading your data at every engine start....would maybe consider another entry level baseline no frills car today. But I do admit to being a dinosaur, contrarisaurus species.

Steering Box Replacements 1948 Plymouth
Plymouthy Adams replied to hotrodbob's topic in P15-D24 Forum
for sure in the very beginning here on the forum he was not the best player, since abandoning his goal to express how to build a car himself, the alternative has been to help you build yours....he is pure business, he is out for a profit....he is one YOU CHOOSE if or if not to conduct business......he has had his rocky start and well am sure continues, this is a strike he suffered and will haunt him.....but very few are seemingly out to provide parts...perhaps you can step forward and give him a run for the money with providing parts no one else seems to want to pony up. Commissioning a part even in the third world is a costly proposition. Not defending nor flaming him, he and I crossed swords a few times as did many/most of the old timers on the forum, his language most colorful, much of the continued animosity is based on testosterone.....there is nothing wrong with your choice to buy as is there is nothing wrong with not buying from him. Most everyone here has their opinion and at the mention of his name am basically tired of the same rhetoric, he is here to stay and only on this forum when others bring up his name....I am guilt of that as are lots of others.. Apparently, he does not need to be on this forum at every new thread to continue to be successful, people in need will seek him out. Lot will not like what I have written here but then the truth is hard to swallow at times. Other than the rocky start, bit of foul language, I have found him to be most fair....again....you can ask a fortune for anything, what it sells for is yet another story, have you ever countered the man with an offer?
