  2. I was on the road to Frost Valley this afternoon, I stopped to take these two photos. During the summer of 1993 we had a spell of heavy rain, this boulder came sliding down the mountain side. The second photo shows the path that it took coming down

  3. At the end of the day, nobody's opinion really matters on anyone else's ride, except the owner....they built the truck (unless their just a buyer) for what they wanted it for, and with their own desires/budget in mind. If I could have, I would have sent my truck to a pro shop and just got it back as a perfect dent free and perfect paint job, but that wasn't in my budget for $10,000 on body alone...paint likely another $5-10,000......but I did do a lot of custom work to my own preference and what I wanted out of the truck..it's not perfect, but I've got a lot of years ahead to perfect my skills. If it does come down to just opinions, I actually am not a fan of true stock in a lot of stuff like this...I don't appreciate strong arm steering, low power, and everything factory correct..I'm a fan of taking today's technology and trying to make it adapt to the older vehicle, to make it better then original.

  4. Supposedly, twitching doesn't hurt, but my horse has never given me her solid opinion on that, except for maybe that hind leg kick she gave me after the last vet visit.

  5. The dome is for the kelsey Hayes frame mount brake booster normally used on eight cylinder and LWB chryslers, and some Dodge and DeSotos amd other long WB models. Never seen a Plymouth with a booster till 1955. Though I think in 1954 it was a rare option .

  7. Thanks Bob for your many pictures. Somehow I always confused New York with New York City and your photography has set me straight. Time to get my 40 out for a run too. dp

  8. Look up Roberts Motor parts or DCM classics. Most of your list is available new. Do you have a picture of it? I've got its brother a 46 dodge pickup.

  9. Sense you mentioned it. I have no connection to this company other than they did a good job for me at a fair price.

  14. I got them downloaded no problem. I had completely forgotten that our cars even had those, a good project for the rest of winter (we still have two months of it here, at least, plenty of time for my procrastinating self). Thank you very much for making this effort, and especially for sharing with us.

  15. I would make my truck basically stock with only a few practical upgrades, then drive it around town at comparatively low speeds with total disregard for gas consumption, green house effects, and the impatience of speedsters. Hey wait a minute, that's what I'm doing! I'm living the dream man, I'm living the dream!
