I was happy to skim this photo off a Craigslist add. This is 1938. Lets play “Name All The Cars”.

I ‘ll start with what looks my 1938 Chrysler Royal Coupe, front & center.

did anyone notice the pair of escalators inthe center of the showroom.  This must have been a very upscale chrysler dealership with two floors. possibly offices or maybe another floor for cars to be stored. Also notice the very art deco lighting and the entire art deco style for the interior.

It's the most upscale dealership ever, and definitely has a lot more more than two floors... it's the Chrysler Building in New York...

Don't know if they still do it or not, I haven't been in there for almost 20 years now, but General Motors' Renaissance Center in Detroit (the five-tower building with "GM" on the side that tends to be in all the Detroit skyline photos) always had all the current year GM products on display on the main floor.

the car that is just a grill and chassis is a 1937 Plymouth.

I love the Art Deco styling of the building.
