I'm looking for a tailgate picture to use for my business cards.

 

High quality, straight on eye level and permission to use.

That shiney spot is ME!  Hard not to be reflected on a shiney black paint job!

As an aside, my brother was PISSED I drove 30' straight into an alfalfa field and backed straight out.  No worse than his own kid did with tractors and his beater...

Had to read this twice to get your brother’s assessment—-lol. Alfalfa fields are ones pride where I come from, without truck tracks!! Got a nice laugh with that. Nice truck though!

Used. Eye level. Shiny is hard to work with.

was taking a picture of the center brace ... and too shiny .... might try tomorrow if you want a old dull photo.

   Here is a picture of my tailgate. 47 WD21. It’s on this easel, I can widen the frame and take another picture if it would work for you and the print shop. Rick D.

Probably about the best I can do.  With the lighting & camera I have.

I'm facing the sun (South) so there is no shadow ... now the sun is getting in the West there is too much light, losing my shade.

Regardless, there is enough light I am shooting blind ... I can not see a thing through the camera lens. Just point & shoot.

 

If I stand up, then you see it is just my junk trailer I keep scrap metal in.

I wonder if taking pictures at dark using a flash would be different? .... I wonder what it is like being awake after dark?
