Ulu Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 That was a Nash, huh? I had one of those Nash shield emblems on my '66 Ford coupe. That made some folks scratch their heads. Non-car-folks that is. Quote

Ulu Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Naw, just to screw with people. Plus it was a neat old emblem. Huge and heavy with fancy enamel work. I shoulda kept it when I sold the car. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 cloisonné...made for some very spectacular looking emblems over the years... Quote

Ulu Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Yeah, it's ugly, but just remember that some deluded soul loved this thing enough to actually build it. Quote

DonaldSmith Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) Aw, he just didn't carry it far enough. Under the Nash front end, he should have added another grille and four more headlights. And he should fair the fenders across the side and around the front wheels. And carry the fender contours across the sides of the home-on-wheels part. I've seen an RV show on TV with fantastic morphings of vehicles to create interesting RVs. At a Woodward DreamCruise once, I saw a creation with a Toronado front and motor home back end. Interesting. Ugly but interesting. Edited December 17, 2014 by DonaldSmith Quote
oldodge41 Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 I like it! There, I said it, and I don't care how weird that seems to anyone! Quote
DJ194950 Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 Would you guys like it more if he had used a Yugo front section and guaranteed what he had?? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 the lower part of the grille just looks so unfinished...if there were a bit of trim here of some sort the looks would not be so stark...may give it some appeal..the upper part..I do like...dare to be different Quote
Ulu Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 Oh it's hokey as hell....some guy with a vision and bad eyesight. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 it is not anywhere near as ugly as any cabover ever made.. Quote
