rusty_apache
I put wide whitewalls on just about EVERYTHING! Ralph has gum dipped Deluxe Champion Firestones with the pie crust sidewalls. I have this urge to set aside the full wheel covers for some Concord dog dishes and ribbed beauty rims. It's nice to know what he would look like repainted, since that's a long way off. Edited August 18, 2014 by rusty_apache
Don Coatney
Here you go. The wheel I get to play with the most. I have liked chrome wheels all my life.
Merle Coggins
Don likes to leave his nuts exposed. My nuts were exposed for a while last month too when one of my hub caps left me on I-94 in Michigan.

casper50
better a nut loose than a loose cannon. Way too much trouble to get into and cause with that.
mrwrstory
Just be sure that loose nut is not behind the steering wheel!

Barabbas
Looks very mean--how do you "home grow" white walls and what's under the hood? I don't think my 230 could turn 8" wide tires
dlrides
White letter tires, then grind the black layer off.

I don't think my 230 could turn 8" wide tires As dlrider said, white letter tires that I used a grinder on. I have the original 218 and three on the tree. It runs just fine. Don Coatney
Do those wide rear tires rub the fenders?
Don Coatney
I believe most all tires (white letter or otherwise) have white wall buried within.
Smokeybear
Do those wide rear tires rub the fenders? Nope, Somehow I measured exactly and got them to fit without rubbing. They are very close though. I've got about 3/4 of an inch in either direction.
Smokeybear
I believe most all tires (white letter or otherwise) have white wall buried within. Whitewalls and white letters do but blackwalls don't.
plyroadking
As my neighbor tell me, "every tire has white underneath the black, you just have to go deep enough" i dont think so, but what do i know, i just work at a tire factory 1
