greg g Posted July 4, 2013 Report Share Posted July 4, 2013 Just came back from doing the Village' parade. we followed a 51 Chevy Panel truck pulling a 67 BMW R69s on a trailer, There was a 49 Packard, a 53 Lincoln MK. a 53 Ford F1, 68 Barracuda, 28 Cadillac coupe, and a 72 442. We arrived late and got the tail end Charlie spot, and I left my camera at home. Well, May the Spirit and Freedom of this great Nation be with You and Yours Today, Enjoy and don't nobody blow yer fingers off, shooting off those black cats............... Weather permitting we will be attending the Syracuse Jazz Fest this evening for fireworks at dusk followed by a concert by the DOOBIE BROTHERS. Didn't win anything, but it was a nice day spent with several friends who have old cars. The weather is hot and sunny which is welcome change after a week of rain. The humidity is high, 2 reasons, a lot of crops,trees and a huge lake nearby. I don't mind warm weather, but do not care for choking humidity. Plymouthy Adams Posted July 5, 2013 Report Share Posted July 5, 2013 despite the rain we have had our cookout today and got in a few yard games also..good company and plenty of tales from the past...the younger set was very entertained with the game room shooting pool and playing pin ball..very well behaved group I must say. BobT-47P15 Posted July 5, 2013 Report Share Posted July 5, 2013 It's now ll:14 pm here ... had a warm, but not too hot, day. Had our grandson, sister in law, her daughter and granddaughters over. I cooked some burgers and dogs on the grille, then the girls did their fireworks. After it got dark, we could see all kinds of fireworks all around us. A good day.
