If you let her have her way now you should plan on selling your truck and buying a skirt (the skirt will be for you)

ouch!

I'm sure I'll be able to make Saturday, but I'll be driving a modern, not FEF.

I'm getting excited!!!  :)  :D  B)  It's sounding like 8-10 guys will be coming. And of course their significant others a welcome too. I have to send out a special "Thank You" to Ralph Malicki and Malicki's Piggly Wiggly who has offered to donate the brats to this party. I don't believe he's been on this forum much. He hangs out on the DEPTCA Facebook page and lives about 30 miles south of me.

I'll also have burgers and fixin's. Feel free to bring a side dish, or desert, to share. Even if you can't bring your Pilot-House truck, come anyway and join the fun. This is an awesome opportunity to meet some of the great members of this forum. I've had the chance to meet several forum members over the years and I've enjoyed every meeting. I'm looking forward to this opportunity to bring several of those together for the day.

See y'all soon,

Merle

I've got some parts to deliver to Ralph, anyone heading out of the Cities want to take them along and save him shipping costs?

Posted

Merle;

 Lisa is coming too!  I am going to bring up a few spare parts to the party just in case anyone needs something. This is going to be a great party!

Posted

Merle,

Planning on being there with  my semi,  it looks like there is no way for my son to get there with the B1.  Its in the paint shop with primer and nothing done on the interior.

Does any one need any items, I have several parts trucks and a 22' empty trailer.  Not much power to pull it the traler so keep it light.

This is great!!! From personal experience I know you guys will have an awesome time.

You have to give it a nickname. You know its gonna be on again next year, so it needs a name.

Ha!  Who is towing whom?  For sure I will throw a tow strap in along with enough spare parts to make a new truck.  Big Red is getting a front brake job today so she should be good to go (and stop).  More about that in a separate thread.

I sent you an IM with my phone number.  I like the idea of having a wingman.  Call me!

I like 48dodger's name for the gig.

Lol... If you look at my flier it's called "Pilot-House Party in Waukesha". I've toyed with other names too. If it becomes a traveling party then he name can change to reflect that.

I also have a new game to break in at the party. One of my co-workers makes custome Corn Hole boards. I asked Keven to make the decals for me and my guy built the boards. I also found a place that will make custome bags. The end result is;
