That darn Tim...he has a great home in a beautiful place, the worlds greatest BBQ grill, a Garage Mahal out his back door, and now a bumper too!!!!! I want to grow up to be like him. Just an update, so far it looks like I will be at the BBQ. The real question is if the truck is going to make it. I might be getting it back from my mechanic this weekend. We'll try to remember to wave at you as our group of old Plymouths passes through on Tuesday, April 9th on our way to Tucson... Should have three vehicles at that point, picking up more in Coalinga and Lebec. Quote

pflaming Posted March 8, 2013 Author Report Posted March 8, 2013 When MacArther was fighting his way back to the Phillipines and then to Japan, he didn't have airplanes large enough to haul the trucks he needed to build better landing strips. So he cut them in half and the welded them back together. Seems a truck would be a lot harder to do than a simple bumper!!! Quote
