First place, Plymouth Owners Club 2007 National Spring Meet for his P15! That is an incredible car and David deserves the recognition the club gave!

As for my car, I did need to dig out a screw driver. To loan to some one else. Didn't even have to add a quart of oil (round trip about 500 miles). I could have left the extra fuel pump at home. :)

Congratulations, David! Your car deserves the honour as we all know how nice it is and the work you put into it. I remember on the old forum the "play by play" posts you gave and we could all watch your progress and give encouragement and help as required. Your car is a beauty and it makes me want to do a burgundy car. Love the colour!

Tod, more pictures please. We are waiting eagerly for them!

I'm just glad we finally have proof that his car does exist and is really that nice. I was beginning to think he was so good at photoshop that he was just making it look nice in the pictures.

Good job, David.

HI All, I just got home from that great meet, Tod and David not only presented great cars at the meet, they both worked their tails off producing one of the best shows I have ever attended. I would like to congradulate them both along with Nick DeSimone, and Margie Amos These are some great people. Tony C

Links to the meet photos I took (and for the tour down) are at:

Most of the photos I took were of cars in the 1928-39 group that I go roped into helping judge. I don't think I have a photo of David's car as it was in one of those "new, post war" classes.

Yes, we all had a very good time. Tod did not blow his own horn but I'll do it for him. He also won an award with his car. And the trophies!!! David made some of the greatest trophies that I have ever seen at any meet. We all worked hard but it was worth it as everyone had a great time. Sorry the rest of you had to miss it... Maybe another time...

... YES! We had a great time!! Excellent effort on the part of our members, great help from the National team and a little luck came together and made for a smooth and enjoyable day for all.

I will be putting together a CD of photos from the meet for attendees. While I have many nice pics taken by the young lady we hired, I noticed that others have some great shots as well. Tod's pic of the hood ornament on that early Plymouth is a good example. If you have any pics you would like to share for the project, please email a high resolution copy to me ASAP and I'll add it to the project.

Thanks!

You may recall that earlier I posted a pic of my design concept for the POC national award. I created the design in my 3D modeling program. Well, I thought I would show you how the final product turned out. I know not everyone is into trophies, but this was designed to be as much of a keepsake as an award. I really would have liked to give one to everyone who participated in the meet.

Know what ya mean. I've been looking for that alternative pair you use to have Don. Just can't seem to lay my hands on a set
