I just got word from a friend who has a relative cleaning up some property.lots of old cars..mostly Mopar I understand..don't know the years, only been told old and by appointment only..hopefully first of week after work will get to do a walk through...must remember my camera..hope it is not that junky old muscle B body garbage..

me too...!! I pretty much figured that all the old cars were gone from this area..last yard was closed by the EPA..still goes to show you never know what is in the deep woods behind an old farmhouse off the road..I am anxious to see what is there for sure..I'll even take a 2 door Morris if that is all that is there...need some parts for my 54 split window..

Update...the trip to the junk yard ahs not been scheduled..turn out one of the out of town brothers has heard of pops selling off the junk and has officially infected the family with BJ fever (Barret Jackson) trip is still supposed to happen...just when I don't know....

for part two, John, had not forgot you only today was I in the areas and so I stopped by the 67 Plymouth this evening...it has white interior..

When I lived in Cleveland, Ohio, any vehicle over 12 years old was a rare collector item. more salt, more salt, more salt.....

I have a 64 Chrysler, base Canadian model, with a pushbutton trans. I bought it as an engine donor for the 49 Chrysler but I won't be using it.

The fellow I bought it from bought it as an engine/trans donor for his 64 Coupe, but I have not had it running and the body is not drivable.

Anyway, if you can use it, it's yours but it's still in the car and I am now unable to pull it. I know someone who can for a very low rate though.

Located in Calgary, Alberta Canada ...I will ship.

the trip so far has been a bust...the father in his old age was going to clear things before he passed..seems to what I hear one of the out of town son's found out, raised a fit, screamed Barrett Jackson prices are in order...and since this the father has passed (wonder if it was a heart attack) and now all is in limbo..you can see the rest of the story now..continue to sit while arguing over prices till nothing is left that can be salvaged..if this greed should truly be the case, I wish the rust god-speed.

That's sad. Every day on my trip to our office I pass a 53 Desoto. I posted on here 2 years ago when I had seen it and stopped to ask about it. $10k was the asking price then and the car hasnt moved an inch since parked by the road. The gentleman had inherited the car from his father and had seen one too many Barrett-Jackson auctions. I love our hobby and the great cars this forum supports but if I ever feel my D24 is worth more than $25-50k, Mr Adams can bring his suburban up and take me to the nut house.

there is one like that about 40 miles from me. Nobody has been allowed in for about 30 years.
