500k dollar plymouth a must see.........

All I see is that somebody with more money than brains went and screwed up a nice old Plymouth wagon. Just my opinion.

Couldn't agree more, Neil, what a debauchery of a fine classic automobile....

500k and exposed piano hinges for the rear doors?? If it has only been driven less than a mile, how do they claim it will not overheat in stop and go traffic, and can be driven anywhere?

Garage art, not a car.

One thing about a car like that. After all that work and fine craftsmanship plus the many dollars spent, its only gonna go down hill from here. I don't undestand the belly pans though? Are they to hide or protect something?

Why would anyone spend a half million building the car and never drive it? No way will the builder will recoup the money spent. Something here smells kinda bad to me. Not sure what but there is something strange in the air.

Would anyone else here thinking.... Crap I couldnt drive that car in the rain or on a road that isnt in good shape. You would screw up the pretty paint or wood. It would almost have to be a Trailer Queen! Whats the point? Nothing wrong with that if thats what you want but thats not what I want. I drive mine every day now that its drivable and safe. :D

not only the car is disgusting... the whole ebay ad is.

stuff like that makes me sick. do they really think that a fragmentary history

lesson about stuff that doesn't have anything to do with a 41 plymouth wagon

helps selling this? it's just like the car itsself. doesn't have anything to do

with a 41 plymouth wagon or even the feeling of driving a car like it.

lame.

It's only been driven less than a mile because that was into a trailer. Thats why it can sit in traffic all day and not run either.

Shel, I saw a nice Commander at a car show last month. First time I'd ever seen one. I loved the hood ornament. The inside looked like a cocktail lounge. A little weird the way it looks like it's coming and going at the same time.

Just based on a quick look at the pictures it does look like a nice build but I would call BS on the $500K investment. I bet a dollar to a donut they do not have the receipts to back up anything near that claim.

i think the car is beautiful. perhaps not a half million went into this but alot of thought and hard work. it would obviously be detrimental to the build to drive it out on the streets so it would end up on the trailer and in a climate controlled storage. personally, having a car like this is for the rich who want to impress people and not for the average guy on this forum who want to drive our cars. you will see this car at a convention center car show with ropes around it and mirrors under it. i would be impressed by it, but i would want to drive it out of the show and go somewhere with it in the style and comfort this car would offer. it will be interesting to see if it sells and how much it sells for. it will never get a half million, but some 6 figure number will buy it. capt den

I agree - I can't stand it when they insist on writing the history of the world in the ad....
