Brent B3B Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 there will ne no face smacking just haven't landed on the exact combo...... narrowing it down..... 1.) yellow on top and gray or silver on bottom (kinda resembles me... thinning on top, aging white guy ) 2.) light gray or silver on top and dark gray on bottom or 3.) tan top with that new burnt orange lower (resembles it original to me when i got it.. minus the blue doors) i know not the typical colors but the truck was far from it..... and it won't be perfect as i plan to do the work and use the crap out of it. have no fear the next truck will be the Hank/Merl Green Quote

pflaming Posted January 29, 2015 Report Posted January 29, 2015 In the late 5O's Mopar did some three color exteriors. I am partial to that and will have a tri color exterior when I done. LOL Quote

TrampSteer Posted March 15, 2015 Report Posted March 15, 2015 Paul is talking about Plasti-dip.....the spray on, not the small jar for tool handles. The spray on isn't legal to sell to California. Youtube vid of Plasti-Dip 48D The Eastwood version ships in Cali https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgFq_PE1VFI Quote
48Dodger Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 LOL.....yah, I guess Eastwood made thier own version of Plasti-dip. The brand name Plasti-dip wasn't made for painting cars.....painting with PD is a "street" thing. Wonder how Plasti Dip will respond since they have been having record sales since the idea of car spraying with it hit You tube.... 48D Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 wonder how many people are going to cry like a little girl when they find their encapsulated steel is now nothing but a sheet of rust molecules suspended in plastic after they get a minute hole or crack somewhere... Quote
Don Coatney Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 But I bet they can get a good grip on there car. 1 Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 I can tell you where the plastic stops and the dip begins... 1 Quote
Htchevyii Posted April 4, 2015 Report Posted April 4, 2015 Spray cans and pints are legal, but not gallons. Eastwood released their own version that IS CA legal. http://www.eastwood.com/elastiwrap Quote
