   This is Butte,MT, winter 1955. A 47 Dodge, chained up and delivering boxes loaded in the back. Looking north @ 4-6% grade. The truck is missing the left rear fender. Knowing the history of my truck’s previous owners, it could be my WD21.  Rick D.

In 1944, women contribute to the wartime effort on the assembly line for Dodge military vehicles,

Factory-working women in 1944 are dressed much better than most women you'd encounter in public in 2024.

Maybe that's the inspiration for one of them fancy service stations where a big ol' plane doubled as a canopy and an attention getter :cool:

It does look like a pretty gentle plane crash :)
