Merle Coggins Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 What's he use the plunger for? Quote
Norm's Coupe Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Ok Tim, I can see where someone might use a plunger for dent removal on a modern car. Now, splain this. Where's he going to use that Level and what for? Quote
Brad Lustig Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 You always have to make sure your round tuit is level before you install it. Quote
Young Ed Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 The level is to extend your reach and pull other tools towards you so you don't have to get up! Quote
Fireball Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 So true. My garage ain't that big, I work there alone, and still I'm able to get tools missing daily basis Quote
claybill Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 guys...by far this is the funniest response, ever, about a joke on the forum! i am still laughing about the 'level' ..... and now to go out and see how much water is on my garage floor...ugh! claybill Quote

Norm's Coupe Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 the level is for checking his oil...duh...oil level...did everyone notice he is working in a no parking zone... Tim, I did notice the red zone on the curb. Was more curious about the level though. Now you explained it's use though. Now, no one has mentioned the truck make. This picture also shows just how many different tools are needed when you own one of those. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Drill for turning the engine over. Hacksaw for removing old oil filter perhaps. He's wearing the standard mechanic's safety toe shoes. Quote
Young Ed Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Norm I figured that part was just understood. Fix Or Repair Daily. Quote

Norm's Coupe Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Pete, One of Don's problems there is he wasn't doing too good of a job parking. Car looks like it's over the curb now, and in a no parking zone. Don, better get those eyes checked before the big race. Quote
PatS.... Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 I thought Don was on the road in New York. So who's trying to "fix" the Race Car? Maybe someone's trying to "fix" the Big Race? Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 14, 2007 Author Report Posted March 14, 2007 Good point Pat...maybe we need a shot of Pete wearing sandals..this could be incriminating eveidence... Quote
JIPJOBXX Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 A place everything and everything in its place (That's my motto!) BS I think this picture was taken down at our local Jiffy Lube shop! Jon Quote
PatS.... Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 No need, your crack FBI/CIA guys should have that info already. Quote
JIPJOBXX Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 I think with that level he's trying to keep everything on an even plain. Quote
Normspeed Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 No zip ties, BFH is too small, and no JB Weld in sight. This mechanic is obviously not a professional. Quote
RobertKB Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Mechanic is very unprofessional. A claw hammer should not even be in sight of an old car. Should be BFBH , the second B for ballpeen. Quote
Don Coatney Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 Your ARCH RACE RIVAL, Pete I owe you one Pete:eek: Quote
