1940plymouth Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 You all are most likely getting tired of me posting photos, but here is one that I took this morning when Cooper and I were on our way to the fairgrounds for our walk. Hope everyone is having as much fun today as we are, Bob Quote

Having fun cruising in these old cars. Keep the photos coming,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Bob.. Quote
pflaming Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 We have a son and family in Maine. When I see you pics, I get itchy. I love the windy roads through the trees. Everything out here is flat and square, nice but different. WHen our peach and nectarine trees go yellow, we have a lot of color, like the pink in spring. That is about a month away. Quote
Greenbomb Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 Great pics! Keep them coming. The ol' 50 is down now, so pics of the road are great! Thanks. Quote
1940plymouth Posted September 29, 2010 Author Report Posted September 29, 2010 We had two inches of rain yesterday, the sun is out today, possible 2-4 inches of rain tomorrow because of the tropical storm headed up the east coast, so Cooper and I were out and about this morning taking advantage of the nice day in the "Way Back Machine" Quote
Niel Hoback Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 What're you lookin' Mac? Quote
Andydodge Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Bob, you post as many pics of you & Cooper as you like..........I enjoy every one and that pic of Cooper that Neil posted brought a laugh & smile to my face........Cooper sure does have a handsome disposition..............lol........regards, andyd Quote
1940plymouth Posted September 30, 2010 Author Report Posted September 30, 2010 Niel and Andy, That photo of Cooper is actually my favorite, with this one a darn close second. Thanks everyone for the nice comments on all the photos. Hope everyone has a great day, Bob Quote
busycoupe Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Went for a ride yesterday. It was a beautiful fall day after several days of tropical weather and rain. I thought I would try to get some countryside pics. Dave ,,,, 1 Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 3, 2010 Author Report Posted October 3, 2010 Dave thanks for posting the photos of your Dodge and the surrounding countryside, lots of fun driving these old cars on the back roads isn't it:) Quote
busycoupe Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Yes, my wife was with me, but she is shy. Every time I took a picture she ducked! She's quick, I didn't get one shot with her in the car. Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 3, 2010 Author Report Posted October 3, 2010 Not to worry, my wife honestly doesn't like to have her picture taken when we are riding in the Plymouth, but my faithful GPS unit doesn't mind as everyone already knows:) Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 3, 2010 Author Report Posted October 3, 2010 Just couldn't resist:D Quote
1940plymouth Posted October 6, 2010 Author Report Posted October 6, 2010 After two days of light rain and drizzle, it finally stopped, although not a good day for photos, it was a good day to fire up the "way back" machine so Cooper and I could put some miles on it. The body of water is the Rondout Res, that supplies water for NYC which is roughly 100-125 miles south of here Quote
busycoupe Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 It looks like great fun! It is still raining cats and dogs here. (no offense to Cooper) I can't wait to get out again. I am going to try to get some shots of the part of route 20 that passes near here. Dave Quote
LAKOTA169 Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 It is still raining cats and dogs here. Dave ....and you almost stepped into a poodle. Bob, I like the "GPS" picture. Quote

1940plymouth Posted October 8, 2010 Author Report Posted October 8, 2010 The "Goofy Pouch Sidekick" and I went for a ride this morning, just couldn't resist taking advantage of the sunshine and an opportunity to drive the old Plymouth:) Quote

1940plymouth Posted October 8, 2010 Author Report Posted October 8, 2010 Tod, I kinda remind myself of Aesop's fable about the Ant and Grasshopper, there are many things I should be doing, but riding around with Cooper and taking photos to share is far more fun:) Quote
greg g Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Bob last weekend I met a couple of guys from Big Indian at the cruise in Sidey. I asked them if they knew your or your car. They claimed not to. One had a hot rod flamed p15, main color was similar to your car but metalic. Has a V8 and different drivetrain. Just wondered if you might have seen it around. They were both familiar with but had never been to the show at your fairgrounds. Quote
