Juday1951
When I upload pictures, I use another website (like Imageshack.us or Photobucket) to host the image. Once I upload the image into their system, they will provide a "Direct Link to Image" address which you can then copy and paste on this forum. When replying to a post, there is a little icon at the top of the shout box that looks like a square, with a mountain and sun. Once you click on that, you can paste the "Direct Link to Image" which you copied from your hosting site in that box. *When you host your images on the other site, be sure to resize the image so that it will work within the site rules. Please don't post a picture that is 2000x2000, but rather an image that is around 800x600 at the largest. It will make everyone's life easier. If you need any more help, just let me know. I'll try my best to walk you through it. Kevin

Reg Evans
Now that's a truck ! I use to have a green one just like it with the racks and the curved metal pieces at the front of the bed corners. Crap.....gave it away for $500.
DollyDodge
I attached a picture of the B-1-HA that I jsut got running. It looks like a cousin or your truck. We have the cattle racks for the truck, but they need work. My brother intends to fix them up. The picture shows a friend of mine, me, and my younger brother about 1970 or so hauling hay on our ranch.

pflaming
Don, yes it was a hay baler elevator. It brought back memories of hard work and hot days. \ The square only, hay bale would come in contact with side by side chains with 'cleats' on them and lift the bale upwards at an angle of about 45 degrees. It was ground driven, just hitch it to the side of the truck and drive so that the bale hit it square. The lift was about 6/7 feet but it eliminated a lot of lifting. Doing that was a long, long time ago in western Nebraska (Near Ogallala).

Merle Coggins
Is this what you are trying for? You are just copying the direct link and pasting it in your message. You need the IMG coding before and after the link to make it show the picture. Click the yellow "Insert Image" icon at the top of the editing window and past your link into there. That will automatically add the codes to your link and the picture will appear. Merle
Reg Evans
Also, when you get to the box to insert your image link don't forget to remove the http/ or you'll end up with a RED X because your link will already have the http/
HanksB3B
I have a folder called "P15-D24 images" where I copy photos I resize to 640x480 and post by using the manage attachments button. Likewise I now have a folder "Photobucket Images" where I once again use Microsoft Office Picture Manager to resized the copied image to 800x600. Now that I know in order to post pictures in the body of the post you have to use Photobucket or the like. I started a free account so following Merle's and Reg's how-to...here goes...still trying..still red x'ing...Finally had to use the "Direct Link" feature to cut/paste the link from Photobucket. Thanks, (swimming with the sharks), Hank Edited June 17, 2010 by HanksB3B
Reg Evans
You did it Hank ! How the heck do you post thumbnails ?
HanksB3B
So your reason for always attaching images to the body of the post is that just like me (only reverse) you learned to do it that way? To attach a thumbnail, just scroll down to "Additional Options", click "Manage Attachments" and just Browse the folder on your local hardrive. It'll become self evident to you when you see it. I've always liked when you post a premier picture like "Circle X" or "Old Yeller" pics wher the whole truck is the subject in the body of the post and until today didn't know how. But since you can attach up to five images thumbnails are better for parts and page scans I think. Plymouthy Adams
I like to use the inset thumbnail, that way as said, multiple pictures and they are not in your face..open them and look only if interested..for the dial up people still out there, am sure they appreciate this option.. JBNeal
OOPS...I hadn't thought about dialup usage when I've posted pics in a thread. I reckon I'll do thumbnails from now on, after resizing them. I had been uploading photos to an album on my profile, but I reckon if I resize these pics from my camera I can get them down to the 80kb size and put together better photos in the gallery. Reg Evans
So your reason for always attaching images to the body of the post is that just like me (only reverse) you learned to do it that way I'll have to take the 5th on that one. Wouldn't want to appear to be ignorant ya know See, I've known how to do it all along Not only has the stock market been a bear lately but now one visited my garbage last night.
