Dennis_MN
http://www.denverpost.com/ci_12565202 Only in Colorado, a fire truck rolled down a hill and landed on top of a 69 Firebird. Dennis

RobertKB
That car looks worse than Bob T's tree flattened coupe!
desoto1939
The car is gone but luck had it that the kids were in the house and not playing around the car and also that the ownere was not working on the car when this happened. It is a sad day for the owner but the loss of a life is even worse. The memories will last for ever with the owner with all of his great time with the car. Wish him best of luck in getting a new ride. rich
BobT-47P15
That car looks worse than Bob T's tree flattened coupe! Yes.......I can sympathize with that fellow. I don't think the portapower would straighten that out.
PatS....
Now he can buy his 'vette and have a cool story to tell about the demise of his Firebird. Isn't it all about the stories??? The firetruck seems in better shape than one would think after rolling down that hill...didn't even break the light bar.
pflaming
Did you notice, the firetruck was a TANKER! The driver was possibly illegally delivering COORS BEER!
randroid
Gents, 1. Not everyone in Colorado likes John Denver. 2. Not everyone in Colorado drinks Coors. Just to set things straight. -Randy
WatchingWolf
Somebody call Chip Foose! He could straighten that puppy out on TV, prank the guy a few times and give it back good as new by the end of the show!
Dennis_MN
http://www.austindailyherald.com/photos/galleries/2009/jun/18/austin-tornado-updated/569/ This fellow was actually working out in his garage when the Tornado hit. Many pictures on TV showed his 68 Chrysler conv sitting on a rack with his daily driver underneath. This picture doesn't show the underneath car but the Chrysler was sitting on one corner of it. There were better views but this is the only one that I could find. Dennis
Captain Neon
I sympathise with both the loss of the Charger and the Firebird. I used to live in Austin MN, and grew up 15 minutes north. I've also had my P15 since I was 13, and while its not perfect by any means, it also carries a lot of sentimental value. My nieces and nephews (or their kids) may not even want the car once I am gone, but it means a lot to me.
