Bingster Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Very beautiful automobile you have there. Where did you get those rear fender stone guards? Quote

RobertKB Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Don't old cars and steam locomotives go together? I just love them both! Quote
Aussie D25 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 I'm interested in the rear bumper with the flared ends that have the red enamel stripes .... very cool my Dodge came with a rather plain front/rear bumper Wish list from that car: # Gravel Guards # Fulton Visor # That sissy bar looking thing that sits above the bumper (no idea of name) # Fog lamps # That awesome rear bumper with the striped bits # Twin tail pipe # The fact that it runs Quote
Frank Elder Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Sissy bar thing is a grille guard... Quote
greg g Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 rear Bumper looks like it may have been sourced from a 41 or 42. Didn't notice till you brought it up but its not a stock p15 bumper. Quote
Young Ed Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 I believe those bumper flares are borrowed from the 41 models. Quote
moparjack44 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Sharp Plymouth. I really love that rear bumper. Jackie Quote
kevinanderson Posted February 23, 2009 Author Report Posted February 23, 2009 Thanks Guys. Those rear bumper wings, not sure what they are original to. Bought them off of ebay years back. Guy said they came off a '46. And I have a neighbor that had a 46 in his grove, which he bought in '48. It had those wings on it. They just bolt on with the original bracket bolts. Quote
eric wissing Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Congrats on getting the pictures up. I have seen Kevin's car in person and it is very nice. Eric Quote
