  1. I see by the packaging this is a wind powered light generator. I wonder why it says 12 volt only at the bottom?
  2. You could use the name "Rocky the Flying Squirrel".
  3. I think the spokes would be blurred also, if he really was moving.
  4. Niellsville? What a great name, they even spell it right!
  5. For the next picture, put the seat lid down.
  6. When the clutch pedal is up, the throw-out bearing should not touch the fingers at all.
  7. I am so very sorry to hear of Norm's passing away. I thought his opinions spoke for me also a lot of the time. I will miss him greatly. But he is feeling no pain now. See you later, Norm.
  8. Waiting with baited breath for the answer to this. Could there really be a replacement drum out there???
  9. Don't forget the poor guy that invented the wiper delay system.
  10. If you crank on it, will the oil pressure pop it out?
  11. Stop going to that guy!
  12. Good for you, you gotta help out your buddy when he asks for something!
  13. Just curious, who has more fun on your rides, you or Cooper? He looks like he is really enjoying himself.
  14. OK, its early in the morning and I am unusually slow, but now I see what you are referring to. It is now obvious that the distance between the tie rod end and the knuckle changes, but the distance between the tie rod and the sidewall of the tire remains the same. I think. I guess I gotta go crawl under the car, its the only way I can learn, through labor.
  15. I see, but as the tie rod moves right, the tire moves the same distance. Am I missing something?
  16. I have to dissagree on that. The wheel/tire assembly is mounted stationary to the knuckle/steering arm assembly so that no change in distance between them is possible regardless of the angle of the wheels in relation to the car. Tire deflection during a turn is the only way the distance could change, and that would only be at the bottom of the wheel.
  17. Merry Christmas to all, and have a Happy New Year too. Sit back and think about how lucky we are to have our families AND our toys.
  18. Turn on your record player, get a beer from the ice box, and relax on your davenport.
  19. Sorry, Rodney. To me, thats just another old ford. Plenty of em out there.
  20. I'm with norm on this one, your guy doesn't sound like he knows what he's talking about. There's no such thing as a cracked flathead, and the rod issue doesn't matter. I never heard of matching head and block numbers because Mopar never did that on flatheads. Changing parts is just a way of coveribg yourself when you don't really know what you're doing. There is an old saying that yoiu shouldn't BS a BSer. I know BS when I hear it because I'm pretty good at it myself. I believe that you have heard it also from a "mechanic". If I were you, I would gather up my parts and run away fast. This is all just my opinion, and its free, so take it for what its worth. I have a dislike for people who take advantage of others ignorance. To quote King Arthur on his quest for the Holy Grail, "Run away fast". No one wants to get hit by a flying cow.
  21. Its been about 13 years, but I got mine from Roberts. I had to order the divider piece separately and I have the stainless trim. No leaks yet.
  22. Welcome Neil, its good to have another Neil, even with a different spelling.
  23. They look like their ASSets are frozen, too.
  24. Cool looking group. Not a hothead among them.
  25. Those are great pictures. Got any more?
