  1. Also check with restoration specialties they seem to have just about every clip. http://www.restorationspecialties.com/
  2. When I buy or sell a vehicle on ebay all transactions are cash when vehicle is picked up
  3. Sounds like the starter button or solenoid is sticking which is why it keeps turning over. Fix that first it keeps flooding pull of the top of the carb and check the float and needle valve
  4. I saved the restoration site if this company can clean of that rust I will have to buy a gallon and try there product but I do wonder if it is just phosphoric acid with a different label.
  5. This has the 318,9 1/4 rear,727 trans with a transmission cooler. The tow receiver looks to be original best I can tell it was purchased this way. I have used it a few time to pull my car trailer and it could use the helper springs you mentioned. Would love to see a photo of the 59; the 58-60 are one of my favorite trucks. Ed
  6. I have had this truck about 2 years earlier this year a friend gave me a cap that was purchased with his fathers new 76 Dodge. Finally got around to install the cap.

  9. I do not think it matters if you are using the fuel pump but I do run a few vehicles in my yard out of a can. I use a 1 gallon gas can and usually put it on the the frame next to the inner fender
  10. Did you need to change the engine and trans mounts. I have a 63 D100 with a 318 from a 74 mated to a 4 speed (forget which one) I had plans to drop into a 49 1st series but I now also have a 49 B1D that I may use instead of then the P15.
  11. Rock auto ships from different locations if you look at the total on the bottom by the shipping cost it will say 2 locations that is when the shipping cost gets crazy. Seems like it goes by manufacture but in any case the trick is to keep the shipments from one location. I have a code for a 5% discount rockauto sent me a while back anyone can use it information is below. why call or send the a email and tell them you forgot to apply the discount code. Ed This email is just a reminder that your RockAuto discount code 782742697415 will expire on November 20, 2007. 18. Don, as others have stated your starting problems are most likely is not do to a valve adjustment. However once you get it runnung you may need to do a valve adjustment so here is a link from the home page of this site with instructions on vavle timing and a lot of other good information Ed http://www40.addr.com/~merc583/mopar/framesets/techtipframeset.html

  25. I do like the early 50's Nash was thinking about getting one in the future but it would have to be a convertible or a wagon leaning a little more toward the wagon.
