It has been my life`s experience that Blue Dots will absolutely get you pulled over, they always seem to attract the unwanted attention of the local authorities like a magic trick.

I was telling a neighbor about Tuff Stuff to clean the interior of his latest used car purchase and was telling him how I had used it to clean the filthy mohair interior of my 48 coupe. I was finally able to locate my old post and realized it was from 9 years ago. I am going to put the link below as there might be some who never saw it and don`t know they can clean their mohair interiors with this 3 buck a can wonder product.

Caveat Emptor is as relevant now as it was centuries ago when the phrase was first coined. There is quite a large streak of larceny that runs thru the human race and the bad ones always seem to be riding on the cutting edge of technology with new methods to separate you from your money.

The scope from amazon arrived yesterday and was charged last night, I just tried it out and could not be happier with this scope. It is not a piece of inferior junk that you would expect to get for less than fifty bucks. The images it produces are of amazing quality and the viewing screen is a very nice size. All in all it is a home run with me as the latest addition to my collection of tools and I can highly recommend it.

I bought four bikes a couple of years ago from these two web sites, they are both owned by the same gentleman but he sells his scratch and dents on bike island. Bike comes in a box partially dis-assembled exactly as the bike shops get them. You wind up saving quite a bit of money usually close to half of the bike shop price. http://www.bikesdirect.com/ https://bikeisland.com/

Apparently he has retired from the rebuilding business which is a definite loss to the collector car world. He did museum quality work and he was one heck of a nice guy. -
I finally got my nerve up and got my cataracts fixed, I could have had it done about 8yrs ago but was too chicken and kept putting it off. I opted for the Symphony Lenses which cost me 2 grand an eye but now I have crystal clear 20/15 vision in both eyes. I was able to throw all my "cheater-glasses" away and the colors are bright and vibrant again. I am only sorry for all the years that I put off getting them fixed it is an amazing difference.

What I learned from watching the Ken Burns series on Country Music was that Kris wrote a boatload of the best songs ever written that were covered by Johnny Cash,Charlie Pride,Janis Joplin and a bunch of others singers. He was basically considered the Shakespeare of country music and I think he sings his own songs better than anyone that ever had a hit covering one of his songs. Quite an amazing life story too.

My wife`s pride and joy was a 2016 Hyundai Sonata Sport that we got new and paid 19k for along with the trade in of a worthless 04 Chrysler PT Cruiser that had mechanical issues. She loved the car but lately had been complaining that getting in and out of it was getting hard, I practically have to roll out of it myself it is so low to the ground. Last time I checked it`s value about a year ago it came up between 10500 and 12000. She saw a neighbors well worn VW Bug Convertible leave on a roll back and asked the owner if she was having car trouble, the woman gleefully replied that she had sold it to Carvana for 15 thousand dollars. I then entered my wife`s car`s info into the KBB car price finder and also Carvana. It came back with offers of 15445 from KBB and 16669 from Carvana. I got a call almost immediately from Major Hyundai in Stroudsberg PA offering the KBB price. I said no I was taking the Carvana offer and after hearing them badmouth Carvana they begged me to bring it in for them to see. I brought it in the following morning and after they inspected it on the ground and on a lift then they came out with an immediate 17 grand offer for the car. Needless to say we accepted their offer and they kept the car. The manager then asked me in earnest if I had any other cars I wanted to sell them or knew of anyone looking to sell a used vehicle. Of course this only works if you can get a deal on another vehicle to replace the one you are selling. In my wife`s case I bought a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Ultimate Edition 2.0 Turbo with AWD that my friend`s wife had not driven in close to a year and was stored in his garage. So if anyone wants to get out of a vehicle now is the time, I told my brotherinlaw and he entered a Toyota SUV he still owes 20k on that he doesn`t like and Carvana offered him 24556 for it, I think he is gonna let it go. https://photos.app.goo.gl/mgS53LVfia8HgCUi8

I too am very lucky to have a family run hardware store in my small town that now has some of the 4th generation working there. They have everything you could ever need and are a vast wealth of knowledge and helpful information. The inside looks like a scene out of a Norman Rockwell Painting and it`s like stepping back in time when you cross their threshold.

The aftermarket fuel tank I put in my 48 coupe came with a one way vent valve that got mounted high in the rear wheel-well, it closes if the car flips over.

I first thought this was an "Internet Hoax" but it was actually true and I immediately opted-out of this opportunity which was easy to do. You have till June 8th to opt-out of this experiment. https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2021/05/amazon-devices-will-soon-automatically-share-your-internet-with-neighbors/

Often when my Firefox gets slow and glitchy I find that it`s overdue for an update to the newest version. It was happening last night and this morning I updated it and now it`s back to normal.

My beautiful female pharmacist had been asking me for the last couple of years to get the shingles shot. I always put it off until my chiropractor told me of his boyhood friend who had gotten an attack of shingles in his testicles and now over a year later he still suffers from the nerve damage it had done and there is nothing the specialists can do help him with his suffering. He also mentioned a patient who got it in the eyeball and almost lost his sight. So that was enough for me and I went and got the first shot and two months later the second shot, my wife also got her shots. The day after Christmas a dear friend called and as I had been doing with all my male friends I was telling him the testicle story. He cut me short and said I have it, I asked oh you already got the shot and he said no I have it I`ll send you some pictures. He got it in the face and scalp and said the pain was so bad you could not even touch his hair without him screaming. They tried nerve blockers to no avail and finally gave him oxycodone to dampen his pain, even a breeze on his face causes him pain. The specialist he is seeing said for a man the worst place to get shingles is in the testicles and the second worse place is the face and scalp. The Dr. also told him we all carry it in our lower spine and they are still not sure what triggers it but extremely stressful life events seem to be a common component to a flare up. In my friends case he watched his father slowly die over two months and then his Mom had a breakdown and he had to deal with that. Also they just lowered the age for getting the shot to 50 from 60 as the stress created by covid has resulted in quite an uptick in shingles cases, I would say this is one shot worth getting. https://photos.app.goo.gl/NyfWikSZPD1wwiAh6

Do you find yourself sometimes resisting the urge....

I have a buddy who lives in Australia who more than once has had ebay auctions sent to me because the sellers would not ship overseas. He is a middle-class tool and die maker and what he is happy to pay for correct Mopar parts for his car amazes me never mind the shipping cost to send down under. Our cars are no longer just cars they are pieces of art and as it has always been, a piece of art is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. -
This isn`t a Barn find but it is something I found at the Freight Salvage place today and added it to my Barn decor. It`s a pretty good illusion and now I can sit by the fire and drink a beer.

This look is an off shoot of the Rat-Rod phenomenon that seems to have quite a growing popularity nowadays. This is the first time I have seen it done with a vinyl wrap on a late model car. The show Vegas Rat Rods do their creations up to look like this quite often and it is more work than a standard paint job. Just saw the episode where they did it to a 54 Chevy wagon and it took them days to achieve the look. To each their own. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/299630181450116582/

It is madness that they made this with no access whatsoever. There was a slew of these made under different names and sold by places like home depot and northern tool. Painted in different colors with different badging but otherwise very similar and none of them had a way to use this decompression lever. http://buffalotools.com/generators/gensd7.html https://www.amazon.com/Pulsar-PG7000D-Diesel-Powered-Generator-Electric/dp/B00EUZWG30/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
