  1. Some of you that have been here a while know that I have a hard time staying in one place for too long. Fortunately my employer has sent me around the world for work more times than I can count. Whats even more fortunate is that this affords me a special ability to actually shake hands and develop great friendships in person with a lot of other old mopar owners. Last year I made 9 trips to Sydney Australia as I was building a new office near the airport and met a Neville Bennett on several of the trips. He and I toured many places in Sydney I would have never have gotten to see if it weren't for his generosity with his time. But I fast forward to these last two weeks and include a few pictures of my visit with another P15 owner in the area of Helsinki Finland. Tommi (who is also on this forum) met me in London for the P15 picnic. (To his credit he trusted his life to me driving on the left side of the road for three days)... After the picnic we took for a few days in Finland and ripped up the roads to the west of Helsinki in his P15 business coupe. I cant advocate travel and meeting people on their own turf enough.
  2. One of the easiest things to do yourself. The material does not need to be bonded to the steel band so its a simple removal of the old wear surface, cleaning up the band, and reinstall of the new wear surface. Remember to slightly countersink the rivets with a like size drill bit when you reinstall to prevent the rivets from being ground off by the brake hub. Oldmoparts.com has the replacement bands in stock. Mark D
  3. You’ll be able to look at your morning coffee and be reminded every day. Lol, glad you came down Lee and looking forward to staying in touch.
  4. An amazing weekend with great friends old and new. Committed now to carrying this into future years and we’re already planning 2020! Stay tuned for more info. We had nine cars this year and we are really hoping to double the attendance next year!
  5. Was great meeting you too Rick. And yes Greg I knocked on every door that was remotely Mopar about our P15 picnic USA. Lots of interest for next year, but I’m afraid our short marketing plan was preempted by a lot of other schedule activities.

The eye of the storm churned over our future retirement home just two hours ago. This is the fourth hurricane in five years to pass by. Thankfully the house is well constructed, and 26’ above sea level despite being 800’ from the Pamlico Sound.
  7. Oh yeah, for the third time since 2014, our place in Minnesott Beach... but that’s what insurance is for. Praying for for the lowlandwrs in New Bern and south of there. They’re just getting rebuilt. Hoping this storm tracks a spaghetti path straight out to sea.
  8. Envious of your new project! Best of luck.
  9. Jakub, give me a shout if you need a hand coordinating on this side of the Atlantic. Happy to help. Mark Duggan
  10. Spit polished and nearly ready for the road! Let’s hope we have headlights by then.
  11. Andy, there’s. Mate of mine that I met in Sydney who can likely give you some photos of his car. Spent a lot of time with him touring on my 13 trips down. He’s got an import car from the USA that the prior owner converted to RHD. I’ll drop you a PM with his contact details. Cheers, mark
  12. Sad to hear this! Stolen or just taken by the wind? These arms are not easy to find. Best try eBay first. All the best, Mark Duggan
  13. So here is our agenda for the tour, stops and evening. 15. Hi all - A couple of us Northeast Region forum members are putting together a classic driving tour event and we want to invite anyone in the area to come along with us. At the moment we have about 10 cars signed up, coming from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and New York. Our plan is to rally our cars in Bennington VT on Saturday mid day. We will be touring the Hemmings Collection, and making stops at a few local sites along the way to the Saratoga NY area (about 50 minutes apart). Saturday evening will be spent together at a local motel where we can circle the wagons and tailgate. Sunday will be spent at the Saratoga Auto museum touring and taking part in their open invitation car show. If you want to hang out with a nice group of people and tour with us, we'd love to have you along. We are not charging anything for attendance, expenses are whatever limit you chose to set. We will have a hotel chosen within the next 24 hours and will send word on that asap. please drop me an email or call if you want more info or want to be added to the email that we will send with details. Oh, and if the event sounds familiar, that’s because our friend Robin Weathersbee has kindly lent the name of his wildly successful “P15 picnic UK” to myself to get this off the ground and well supported. Robin has kindly created and lent the logo and artwork to us as well. I am truly grateful for his support and continued encouragement. Robin I’m looking forward to seeing you in Athens UK on the 28th of September. thanks, Mark

  17. Will be over Sunday afternoon to give you a hand.
  18. What parts are you searching? There’s several vendors out there with new stock and new old stock. A few are reproducing parts as well. Most engine components for the later 30’s through 70’s are over the counter or on the shelf in the USA.
  19. Drop me an email or call or text. Mark@rdusaclassics.com 978.333.0758 cell It’s funny I just passed through Manchester a few minutes ago headed up to Northwoods New Hampshire to pick something up, and then I’m headed back
  20. Sorry I didn’t see this sooner! How’s the cruising going? I’m in central mass, happy to make a plan to meet up.
  21. Barring her work schedule we will be there. - Mark D
  22. Used two sources from eBay, both delivered a good kit. Material for the interior of at least one of my cars came from SMS out west, but many have not been happy with them. All went well for me. Next time around I’ll go to an upholstery store and find a decent substitute.
  23. I’ll send you pics of the one I have. - mark
  24. Let’s see what the weather looks like tomorrow for Sunday, and I can swing up with the convertible for a visit Sunday .
