  1. Immigrants! Natives never complained.
  2. Very impressive. I have a pair of 2010 Lincoln Towncar buckets in my suburban. It doesn't tip forward either. So will fabricate a front axle pivot frame with self locking rear legs, then will put a safety switch on the rear that kills the engine if the seat is not locked down.
  3. Listening to the quiet is why I like the EARLY hours of the day. No trains, planes, traffic, dogs, family, etc..
  4. Today started finalizing from the rear bumper forward. I discovered I had to remove and repair thevtail light fixtures. So I decided to use a pair of '54 lights. A two hour task took all afternoon and now I must order a set of lens for the pair. These will look great and now it will also have backup lights!
  5. Plymouthy, is driving a Chevy on public roads immoral?
  6. I'll make sure my dad reads this. He was the one in the way! You saying he wants to walk, so as not to be a burden on his friends? LOL,
  7. Don, did you leave the solenoid there when you installed the engine into the car?
  8. For me, most anywhere but a head bolt ,UNLESS I have a head bolt with a threaded hole in the top. I believe these bolts have a thicker head.
  9. If memory serves be correct, the foot stater has only th #1 cable from the battery, no others.
  10. Member map shows only one member in the Las Vegas area. I would guess the area has ample places to gambol so car restore is not as attractive.
  11. The above fabrication is now with a professional fabricator. Should be ready mid next week.
  12. My wife and I will be in Henderson Thursday evening, March 21 - Sunday March 24. Would like coffee with area members one of those mornings. Are there any regular Mopar coffee meetings in the area?
  13. I like to repurpose things into shop, lawn, etc art. Radiator fans make great lawn flowers.
  14. This is not what I wanted to read. Wishing you a good recovery. Paul
  15. Top end works nicely. A couple more brass bushings, shoulder bolts, and swivel head connectors to reduce friction and NICE professional parts willl close this assignment. Will make four complete assemblies. Then find two forum members who will each take one on a thirty day trial agreement. Interested?
  16. The shifter is very close to final. I've been fine tuning the small parts, linkages, bushings, connectors, etc. Will work on the red rod gear selector trigger today. Floor is nearly fitted, ready to weld in. Still waiting for electrical parts on order so I can finalize that and the attach and fit the fenders, etc., Details eat up time and energy.
  17. Frank, as hot as that is, might be a good BLIZZARD bike!
  18. Can the cable be drilled out from the end or if soldered into a harder metal, heat the solder and remove the cable? Just curious.
  19. Found the hearing aid. What a relief! TKS for the responses though. One day the battery went dead while driving, it's a strange feeling to drive and not hear the sounds of the car. I always listen to my cars.
  20. Did you do the seat covers? If not wheee did you get them?
  21. Last evening I misplaced or lost my hearing aid. I'm deaf without it. It's strange in that when I remove it and know where it is, deafness doesn't bother me, but when I realized I could not find it, I got sick to my stomach, such as if I had just lost a friend! I didn't realize one can have an emotional attachment to an inanimate object.
  22. Prior to putting up the business up for sale, he was VERY helpful for me. The pending sale may have lessened his interest.
