  1. Will Yosemite be reopened by BBQ time? Waterfalls should be full by then.
  2. BA, I've got lots of time? TKS my fender is a '54 model.
  3. The '53 Dodge Suburban on eBay just sold for $9900.00! Incredible.
  4. Saw this in Kansas three years ago.
  5. Tim, no that decal is priceless. To paint over it would, in my opinion be disgraceful to my military friends. In hindsight if I had the military decision to make, I would have tried to become a Seabee! I'm serious about that. No, disrespect to Casper, career military person.
  6. Yesterday I noticed that the inner fender requires an extended, removable side panel. This probably to allow access to adjusting the valves. Does someone have a picture of this panel. I bought this doghouse, a 54 model, and the panel is missing.
  7. Anyone else with the same? Maybe get two continuous hours at most. Frustrating.
  8. The bumper, painted will look quite good. This is just primer.
  9. " I only wish that you have documented the conversion with pictures." This is not difficult to do. I put the two axles in parallel on saw bucks. Then I clamped a bar on to the perches so that the spindles were exactly at the same degree of angle. That done i reclamped the two so the could not change. I then welded on new perches on THE Cherokee axle. Finally I put the Cherokee axle on the truck. Worked out perfectly. Just duplicate!! Easy to do.
  10. I fully agree and experienced similar results with my B3B. Now I need an over drive so I have 2nd and over on a long pull. Also, I need to tune my truck more often, on loses a lot of torque with a poorly tuned engine.
  11. This is the Suburban I'm rebuilding. I paid $350 for it. I bought it for a parts car! I think it was in better shape then, than the Dodge on eBay today.
  12. This is interesting. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1953-Dodge-Other-Meadowbrook-2-Door-Suburban-Wagon-Patina/123604933165.
  13. My octogenarian body needed a respite today. I did get the bumper and loosely positioned. And I'm adding connecting bolts from the doghouse to the body. Will likely paint the bumper to match the doghouse. Since i cant have another cat, I got me a fire guard rooster.
  14. We answer only those calls we know and those who leave a message, none other. I answer NO calls. I maintain six good friends else they cremate! LOL
  15. Fenders, grille bars, hood now loosely on. Will get help to fit and tighten down
  16. My scammer tried again yesterday, said he was sending $$ but. . . . I replied, send all the $$ you wish, but balance in cash when picked up.
  17. Are there any sources for the front carpet for the 53/54 Plymouths? Suggestions welcomed.
  18. It would certainly turn heads on a down town street in SFO or Boston or . . . To see that nose show would give one pause I'm sure.
  19. Dash is ready to be connected to items.
  20. Inner fenders repaired and painter yesterday, the doghouse goes on today, then full engine bay wire comment. The dash is prewired and tested, so much has already been done.
  21. Now that is. . . . Out of the blue!
  22. Yes.
  23. Ed, I did save the pieces, maybe I can patch them into place then Fiberglas. Will try!
  24. I'm not looking for hoses, I'm looking for the paper air duct that stretches across the front, or another way to accomplish the same. The hoses attach to this duct.
  25. This is a cool bike. I dont know much about bikes. Someone might enjoy this one.
