  7. I got the car for free from my father in law after his stroke. I cleaned it up and got it running for under $300. Redid the brakes for $300. Bought material to redo the interior for about $500. So just over a grand. But, like a MasterCard commercial PRICELESS. So, bought a 1952 half ton.
  8. No problem. It feels good to answer a question for a change. Usually I am asking the questions.
  9. According to my Canadian Parts Book, it is from a D35 or D36, the Canadian version. I will attach a picture from my car. It is a 1950 Dodge Special Deluxe D36, Canadian.

  14. I am pretty sure I have an old sender, lock ring, gasket, etc. in my garage. I will confirm tomorrow, if I do it is yours, if you want/need it. It is my turn to pay it forward. Here is what I have. The top plate has been modified, I added a separate ground when I was working on it. Let me know if you are interested.
  15. Welcome back Bob. I have had no problems. So far, anyways.
  16. Works great. Thanks for the tip.

  20. I have new wheel cylinders and brake lines on route. -20F here today, (-28C) just finished repairing my sister in law's block heater cord as her car would not start. Of course I had to do it outside. Cold hands, but major brownie points with everybody.
  21. The weather is much nicer in Winnipeg than Saskatoon.:)
  22. My 1950 Special Deluxe came from my wife's family. When I found my 52 DG-1 (B3B), I hinted around about it and she lost it on me. Then 1 day, she said we need to talk. I thought she was leaving me, but she said, "you never question what I do, how can I question what you do?" I bought it the next day.
  23. Here are some pictures of a Fargo that was at a nearby show
