When I ordered parts for my truck from RockAuto, I had the parts shipped to a member in the US and then he repackaged them and sent them to me. After I sent him the postage using PayPal it was still less than 1/2 the cost of getting RockAuto to ship them direct to me.

I went with red rims on my car, added WWW's,repainted the red on the hub caps as well. I had spare rims so I kept the original with the 3 grey stripes so I can go back if desired. It gives the car some shine, draws your eyes away from the original paint.

I bought from him for my 52 Dodge 1/2 ton. I installed them this summer, they fit fine. I cannot report on their function yet as it has made about 6 trips from beside my house to the garage.(about 40 feet per trip)

My bad. I found that the coil wire to distributor was hanging out. Fixed this and now it will start as is. Still need to replace wiring but now I can move it around. Thanks.

I know I saw this diagram on here before, but I cannot find it now. I need to replace the wiring on my Truck, but I need to be able to run it to move it around while redoing it. I would like to temporarily bypass as much electrical as possible. Just a toggle switch, foot starter, and other connections as needed. I will keep searching as well. Thanks Not really the best answer, just wanted to mark it solved.

He laughed told me the trans was good in that truck and told me 2 case of beer. (common Canadian currency) I restarted my hockey career last fall at age 47 and paid 12 beer for my equipment.

I have used this method to balance several tires, both radials and the WWW's on my car now. Seems to work ok? http://aircooledtech.com/tools-on-the-cheap/balancing_beads/ It sure makes used tires more attractive, most places around here want $25 - 30 to mount and balance a tire. I have a Princess Auto tire machine that works pretty good.

I know how well I listened to my parents, that's what scares me.I told my 16 year old earlier this summer that, "Someday, we will look back at this and laugh but not yet." They are both good boys but it just pains me sometimes to see them make the same stupid mistakes that I made. Payback is something else.
