I grew up on ROCK AND ROLL ... Jimi Hendrix ,, Cream ,, doors ,, and the rest .. way back in the 60's .. lived in the L.A. area ..saw every concert that came to area ... played bass guitar back in the day ,,and worked in a machine shop ... my ears were ringing back Then ,, and I still have problems hearing / ears ringing ... found out that I can't hear a snake RATTLE .. almost got bit when I got too close ... good thing my 2 dogs CAN hear and they don't like them ...

Shots in the knees ...is that the stuff that they make from the comb of a rooster ?? .. synvisc .... That stuff works great for around 6 months at a time ....

I WAS. ... A tractor / equipment mechanic and machinist ....with over 40 ish years experience ...currently retired on Doctors orders ... can't seem to get up off the floor anymore ... grunting and groaning way too loudly ... need help getting up ,, ECT... NOW ,, I just sit and wait for my money each month to pay my bills ... currently ,, it's way to hot outside to work past 9:00 A.M. got some more things for the TOYS a few months ago ..

.temp today ,, 107-110 ,, record here 122 ,, ..pretty normal here for this time of year ... death valley ,, around 95 ,, record there 132 ,, hottest place in the U.S. I think only Sahara desert is hotter ..

Salvage/ junk yards ,, aren't what they used to be ....I remember going to them back 50years ago ,, I was 10 ,, seeing all the cool cars that they had .. the coolest ones were ,,and still are in the back ...there WAS a couple of nice ones here in Arizona .. nice old cars that the owner said weren't for sale .. drove by it around 3 years ago ,,, cars all gone ... guy next property over has a car crusher ... but new owner doesn't know anything ....

I'm glad too see that there are getting to be a lot of these cars out there that have been modified .... but I hate to see someone cut a really nice stocker ...

Possible Drivetrain Swap 48 Plymouth 4-Door

mine is a 48 4 door with a 3 1/2" chop .. front clip from a early chevy nova .. NO ,, i did NOT chop up a good car ,, found it this way .. work was done nice ..a 350 with 350 t. h. going in .. at least i can get parts for it anywhere .. maybe a/c will also be a option .. -
If my car was at least 1/2 there and done , I would finish it stock .. but i got mine with the modifications already there . so why not just go crazy ??

don't forget that the Mayan calender ends in 2012 ... maybe they are right .... i guess that i won't hold mt breath on that one .... wasn't California going to fall into the ocean a few years back ??

here in Arizona ,, last week the high was 52 ,, low was 20 ..this week its warming up some .. hi 60's ,, low 30's .. i sure am glad that i bought a space heater and some snuggies .. there was even snow about 40 miles away ..i guess that i DON'T have the want to play in the stuff ....

oh man ,, i feel sorry for all of you guys stuck in that weather .. out here in Arizona ,, its a chilly 62 degrees ... and i'm freezing my butt off .. i would like to take my kids to the snow ,, but its 4 hours away ,, and WAY too cold for me ..

there is plenty of snow in Arizona !! .. you just have to drive north about 4-5 hours that's all .. and yes a 70 degree Christmas is real nice ...

maybe that's why all the car company's are trying to get rid of our older cars .. i will sacrifice gas millage for a car that's WORTH keeping for over the next 60 or so years ,, as opposed to a disposable car that will cost you $30,000.00 over the next 10 years ... just think ,, if we spent that kind of cash on our old cars ,, wouldn't we all be driving concourse cars ???

i found the perfect thing to find leaks while working at the tractor dealership ..they sell a blue pen lite ,,and when you shine it on the oil it glows green ... you can wipe the area clean ,, with some carb cleaner ,, start it up ,, and shine the lite on it ... you will see a trail of florescent green oil start to flow .. they sell the blue penlights at any auto parts ... the cost is around $20.00 for them ,, but well worth the money ...try it ,, you WILL be amazed....
