Talk to many of us "old guys" who haven't painted in a while,, our choices WERE lacquer or enamel ....things have changed some with water based paint .. guessing it may have something to do with lack of the "buzz" we used to get from constant paint fumes ..I guess I'll get back to painting again now that the headaches have stopped ... alcohol just isn't the same anymore.....

I used to live in so. Cal. For 40 + years .. kind of strange to look out your window and see WAVES in your pool .. shaking and swaying in the top floor of a 6 story building made out of glass is really spooky ...

I use plywood all the time ... landlord had a problem with me putting up ANY kind of permanent structure on the property ... something about it will raise property taxes ... anyhow. ,,,,, so I use plywood squares with my jackstands ,,and a piece to lay on .... scorpions and RATTLE snakes are a problem ,, as well as desert sand means that I have to pick it up at nite ... now it's monsoon season ....

..I'm thinking ,, if there is only 1 wire to to brake lite ,, ground goes to body thru socket of lite at the 2 prongs that holds bulb in .... Just a small amount of corrosion will make connections bad ........

MY EVERYDAY beater Used to be my 1963 chevy carryall suburban ... somewhere around 500,000 miles in 30 + years ... Finally stopped it to 're- do and upgrade the thing .. every car I get ,,, I start having to throw money at it just to keep it running ... getting further away from my TOYS ... they Will last forever .....
