    Mopar flathead engines were not designed for full flow filters only used bypass systems .

    you have mismatched parts. all parts should be purchased as a matched set in one box!

    Got mine from Roberts , for both trucks , neither leak .

    That engine will run better at 180 -190 and for sure stay cleaner inside .

    It won't make much difference what filter you use ,because that system is only a bypass system . It filters only a small amount of oil !

    I have done what you guys are talking about . It is easiest to put on Dakota chassis ,then you have p/s a/c and any thing else they had , either way you need to move fire wall. look at my signature pictures.

    It would be best to use the Dakota , fits much better than the S-10 frame ,how do I know, I have 49 1/2 ton pilothouse on Dakota.
