  1. I'm not going for originality. I'll see what it looks like without it. If I don't like it I guess I'll use fender welting. If only both of my windshield pieces were not broken when I received them... Lol Thanks for everyone's input.
  2. I did look there, but I didn't see it. That's where I bought my seal kit fir the truck. I'll have look again.
  3. I'm in the process of replacing all of my glass and seals. My kit did not include the gasket that goes under the windshield garnish molding. I did some searching, but couldn't come up with anything. Does anyone know what this is called? It looks like fender welting. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  4. That would have been my guess. Thanks.
  5. Was the original glass color in the B series trucks clear or green? I'm getting ready to order my glass kit. Thanks.
  6. I've seen them both ways. I guess it might just come down to personal preference. The original owner had both wires for the dual filament bulbs tied together. I'll be wiring up the marker and turn signal separately. Thanks for everyone's input.
  7. My truck came with 2 different turn signal/ parking lights. One is amber on both sides and one is amber on one side and red on the other. Which one goes on the front fender?
  8. I did basically the same thing on my rear fenders, except I had 1/8" thick. Looks like we may end up going that route. Thanks.
  9. What is used in between the fender and the grill where they bolt together? I have been searching all over and really have not come up with anything.
  10. I will have to take a look at that. I have the bottom of the radiator support mounted through the bracket with the 2 1/2" studs currently.
  11. I started reassembling my 48, basically the front sheet metal etc. The front half of my frame is from an 02 dakota so things aren't quite the same as when I took it apart. For the life of me I can't remember where this was...
  12. I'm changing the vacuum wipers over to a 12v electric motor. Can anyone tell me how many degrees the current vacuum motor turns? Thank you.
  13. Thank you JB. I read through the information and ordered a motor, hopefully it's the same.
  14. I'm converting my truck to 12volt. What are people for a blower motor in the heater?
  15. Thanks Lingle. I did not realize that they used a harder durometer rubber on the drivers side. That certainly explains why that was was hard as a rock and cracked and the other ones were not. I was looking at the DCM mounts as well. I'm not keeping the factory pedals either.
