Hi Nicolas, do you have any pictures of the car to share? Did you buy the car in person or through an agent? I've used agents to look at far-away cars for me, a couple of times and, once I saw their reports, with illustrations etc., I've widely disagreed with the assessment results, for some reason. They rated the car considerably better than it actually was ?

Did you already buy the service manual? It's a good read to prepare yourself for when the car gets there.

What kind of questions do you have?

What city are you from? I've been to Paris a couple of times :)

Welcome to the forum. When you get to the point of needing parts shipped over look up rdusaclassics.com.  One partner in US (splits his time between  Massachusetts and  North Carolinna) and the other is in  Rotterdam. Check out their website.   They ship vehicles and parts by container several times a year, so if you can get to Rotterdam they maybe able to assist with your project.  Mark is a member of this site, when he is in Massachusetts, he is about 15 minutes away from Burnbaum parts, and Roberts Motor parts also.  Both of those vendors have online catalogs.  Check out thier stuff.  Vintage Power Wagons is also a good source for mechanical parts.  Hope your Dodge arrives safely.

Hello Nicolas. Welcome to the Forum. I had a '40 Dodge and may have some leftover parts that you can have for the shipping.

The car appears to be in rough condition :( Do you have experience restoring junk-yard vehicles? If not, this is going to be a very interesting project. Why would you buy something like that, from abroad (no parts, etc.), in the first place?
