FarmerJon Posted February 6, 2022 Report Posted February 6, 2022 I have seen these 'clamshell plug wire organizer' pieces on many mid '30s Mopar flat sixes, and also chromed on '40s & '50s customs. I would like to find one, but don't know what they are actually called or what years they were used so I can hunt for one. 1 Quote
Bryan Posted February 6, 2022 Report Posted February 6, 2022 In the Parts book it's called a tube and bracket assembly. 1 Quote
junkers72 Posted February 6, 2022 Report Posted February 6, 2022 I believe that style is 1941 and earlier 1 Quote
Young Ed Posted February 7, 2022 Report Posted February 7, 2022 I would call it a plug wire loom. Used on the 39-47 trucks. 1 Quote
FarmerJon Posted February 7, 2022 Author Report Posted February 7, 2022 Thanks guys! This gives me a little more to work with. Searching for 'spark plug wire loom" or 'divider' always turns up the generic little plastic dividers or the ones that clip on V8 valve covers in the '90s I might message a few people selling $100 engines on CL and see if they will pull just that part and ship it to me. OUTFXD Posted February 7, 2022 Report Posted February 7, 2022 Okay, now *I* want one! That thing looks cool! Quote
Solution keithb7 Posted February 7, 2022 Solution Report Posted February 7, 2022 I recently bought one on the 37-38-39 Mopar Cars Facebook group. $35 1 2 Quote

Graefen Posted February 7, 2022 Report Posted February 7, 2022 I've always called it an ignition wire loom. Used on the Mopar flat sixes for DECADES. Quote
