Earl Gray Posted April 13, 2020 Report Posted April 13, 2020 What are you using for a replacement horn relay when you can't find OEM/NOS? Quote
kencombs Posted April 13, 2020 Report Posted April 13, 2020 (edited) There is a standard 12v/30A relay available at auto stores and online, Bosch is one brand. Can be used for horn, lights, fuel pump etc. Doesn't look right but works great, and readily available. Edited April 13, 2020 by kencombs Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted April 14, 2020 Report Posted April 14, 2020 If that first one mentioned is 12 volt.....will it work on a 6 volt car? Quote
RobertKB Posted April 14, 2020 Report Posted April 14, 2020 Often on ebay as mentioned. Place an ad in the classified section as I am sure there are forum members who have spare ones. I know I do as I pull them off any cars that are junked but still have the relay. I have three old Mopars that have this relay and keep mine as spares. I find that horn relays seldom go bad although I imagine it does happen. Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted April 14, 2020 Report Posted April 14, 2020 (edited) Open the old relay up and see what's wrong...could be dirty points...quick to do. Edited April 14, 2020 by Dodgeb4ya 1 Quote
Veemoney Posted April 14, 2020 Report Posted April 14, 2020 If you have not done so already, check all the connections for the horn. I found a dirty ground connection can be the culprit when it comes to the horn not working. I did pick up a new stock replacement relay at NAPA a few years back. 1 Quote
