'50 hood replacement

I'm working on a '50 Surburban and am wondering if a 51-52 hood will fit. 

Anyone?

what about a 49 hood?

49 and 50 will interchange with each other....think there is a bit difference in hood lettering position/size

 

51/52 only within those years

53/54 only within those years..

48 was not an all steel wagon......it was of the P15 series.....the 49 introduced the Suburban in all steel and was built on the shorter Concord chassis....

See there ya go, I was thinking suburban as in a chevy suburban or a pannel van.

So I was thinking 48 - 50 truck hood ... not a plymouth suburban wagon ... DOH!

 

Good thing I got Scott from the H.A.M.B to come by and pickup the 52 suburban I had sitting at my uncles place ... I obviously not worthy of one

Suburban name goes way back, applied to so many cars it is hard to keep them separated.....

As Plymouthy stated it goes way back, many companies.
