yes I moved the Plymouth signage from the glove box to above the radio. trying not get to crazy on changing to much. this was a radio and clock delete and

I found both items and installed as well as stainless belt moldings/key guards/rear fender gravel guards/back up lights/chrome rear tailgate hinges both inside and outside/

rear arm rest/ overdrive trans and I'm still looking for a few more options ( mopar compass)

Cool it looks good up there!

IMO those are some of the coolest cars ever built.. I've never owned one but have great memories of running around with my BIL in his back around 1970, towing the ski boat to lake and just generally having a great time.. I think his was a '52.

Not mine.  On the way to visit my friend Mike after the Long Beach swap meet, came across this Suburban on

the 22 Fwy.  Didn't have time to take in all the details while driving and shooting but the overall effect was very cool.

I have a '40, and '51 and a '52. The woodie is finished- the next project is the '52 for the wife to drive as a chase car for the woodie. It has a '51 nose, so I guess it'll be a hybrid '51/52. I seem to do that,5692C88C-F84C-4A31-B021-D7B0D29E9DF5.JPG.bc0847afba41a48a731c8f9bcc27b8b6.JPGP1000814.jpg.09d8e09e9054ac373149fdef72d946a4.jpg5936b171ab1e4_FullSizeRender7.jpg.626fa0c36fbf3627e7729509790f3576.jpg as the woodie is a '40 metal body with a '41 wooden body.

Always loved Suburbans so this thread got my attention.  I'll probably never have one and this is probably as close as I'll ever get.  Just had to revisit the thread, "My Friend Mike" which is over a year old and chronicled his build prior to a run to Canada in July, 2016.   Perhaps some of the new guys would enjoy the documentry,....

Here’s mine coming along slowly. Brakes are rebuilt, shift linkage has been installed, bellhousing has been swapped over, and trans to go in next. Hoping to drive it for the first time next spring.

Some pics of my right hand drive 55 Plymouth Belvedere Suburban wagon, 259 poly with 2 speed powerflite, original colour Pompano Peach and Cypress Brown. I bought it complete, registered and running but needed lots of work on brakes, tyres, rims and steering to make it roadworthy. Rocker panels, front guards, floor derusted but needs more work at back and probably roof. Now on club license as cant afford $800 rego.. Currently working on 38 Plymouth 7 passenger.

Nice ambidextrous instrument panel.   Swap out the speaker for the instrument cluster, modify the dashboard for the ignition switch and the shifting lever, and good to go.

Fascinating how an auto manufacturer, or a car body firm, would adapt for changing LH to RH drive, or vice-versa.
