what year and what make and model on the BIke/MC

More photos of the backup transportation would be nice also.

I collect antique bicycles.  HAve a tandem from 1890's with the origina wooden rims. It is a Ladies front Mens rear and it is a double steering bicke. You can steer from the rear back seat.

Also a 1920's track bicycle that has BSA hubs and crankset and stillhas the wooden rims

Modern tandem Santan from the 1980,  Schwin Paramont from 1975 and a Motobecane trouring from 1971. Used this to go across the USA in 1976. Williamsburg Va to San Fran in 60 days carrying my own gear on the bicycle. Did about 60 - 80 miles a day. .

Real nice version on your recreation. The big MC swap meet is going to be held in Oley PA this month and there are a lot of old Indian MC that show up. All of the big name collectors and sellers are there every year.

I am hoping to attend and if I do I will take some pictures and post on the forum.

I think it is April 23,23.  I live in Audubon, just next to valley forge park.  Small world.

Here's my modern day equivalent...

Hauling my new toy up to my new home.

Not a Dodge, nor an Indian, but...

Looks like you would win in a race  nice bike  You have need for speed......... cool.  I see you have a fold up ramp in the bed, that was one of my problems for my wooden bed truck where to put the ramp without tearing up my new bed.  I needed  the space that was left in the bed for car show stuff chairs ,coolers ect that would not slide around   So I made up some brackets so that the ramp mounts flat to the rear bumper, and can be removed without tools.   But we have the same problem of having to drive with tailgate down. because we both have something in front of the bed. Merle have fun with your new toy.  keep the rubber side down

Yes, the ramps come in handy. I wish they were a little longer as they get a little steep for some bikes, and they'll bottom out as they clear the top. But this one was OK. I don't use them often as I'd rather ride them than haul them. But this time it was the most efficient way to get both vehicles up to the other house. I wouldn't want to toss the ramps into the bed of your truck either. Your setup looks very nice.

LOL, Todd.

I won't apologize for being a Honda Man. I love my Wing, and I'm looking forward to playing with this one. By the way... it isn't a crotch rocket/sport bike. This Honda NC700X is in the Adventure class (think BMW's GS models on a smaller scale) It is designed to be a commuter bike with a very neutral, upright riding position. I've had it for 2 weeks now and haven't been able to play with it yet. Too much going on with the move, and the weather has been crappy as you know.

As for the Ford truck... What can I say... It's a company truck that I get to use for personal use too. I can't complain much when my employer hands be the keys to a new truck, with a fuel card to go with it. For what it costs me for my personal usage is WAY less than what it would cost for me to own a truck, making payments to the bank, insurance, gas, etc. So I don't complain (much) that it's not a Dodge Ram.  ;)
