49DODGEBOY Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Once again, very few 40's - 50's Mopar out there. But wanted to share this one, was very clean and simple. Quote
desoto1939 Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 hope it does not rain when the owner is driving the car, No wipers attached. ALso are the rear fenders in a flat or mat black. There seems to be no shine on the right rear fender. But overall a nice looking car. Rich Hartung Quote

1952B3b23 Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Nice car. It's a shame that we don't get to see more Mopars turned into early style customs. To me they are great candidates for restyling and don't get the attention that they deserve. Lots of people are so obsessed with the Ford Shoeboxes and Mercurys that it get's kind of old seeing the same types of cars all the time. I'm a custom car lover and can really appreciate a well restyled Ford or Merc but it's nice to see some diversity out there. Just my two cents. Thanks for sharing, -Chris Quote

deathbound Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 I was there the last few hours Saturday and only saw a couple Mopars (will post pics soon). Previous years, I've seen quite a bit more. 1 Quote
Frank Elder Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 I'd rather they never become popular enough to become mainstream.......I would like to pay ford and chevy prices for my parts, but not when purchasing a whole car. 1 Quote

1952B3b23 Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 That's a good point Frank. The lower price tags for these cars does make me happy too. What's the Facebook link to? I don't have an account so I can't see anything. -Chris 1 Quote

Not so sure about the "simple" aspect when it comes to the work he did,and then had the stones to cover it with high gloss black paint. Quote
1952B3b23 Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 It's awesome. I agree! It's almost worth making a Facebook account just for that. 1 Quote

deathbound Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 I got there late and think a lot of the cars outside the Suede Palace were gone. Here are a couple I did see....a 1933 for TodFitch for a little inspiration ( ) and a T&C, which I'm not a big fan of. 1 Quote
