Young Ed Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 Another successful year. Little rain today as we were finishing the swap meet. Didn't stop me from coming back with a couple treasures. Friday was hot saturday was almost as perfect a day as you could want. I posted some of the truck pictures in the thread over there so here are a few car ones. First is this awesome p15. This is what I think mine could have been if the previous owner hadn't started trying to fix it up. A very tempting car at the swap meet. non hemi V8 said it ran and drove 4900. Most of the trim was off I don't know if it was present or not. And the only things that actually followed me home from the swap meet. 1 Quote
Young Ed Posted June 23, 2014 Author Report Posted June 23, 2014 An interesting and I think pretty neat intake on a dual carb flathead that was in a 54 with a T5 behind it. To me I'd go without the chrome bowl thingie on top. How about a slant six stude?? Quote

48ply1stcar Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 Thanks Ed - I didn't go this year. Failed to use BTT50s as my annual inspiration. Quote
busycoupe Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 Your what's it picture looked very much like the engine I saw in an old Willies pickup truck a couple of weeks ago. I thought that someone had transplanted a newer engine into the old truck, but perhaps not. Quote

Lumpy Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 One of these days I'll get around to fabricating a cold air induction for Lumpy. Engines sure run better with air that has not already been sucked through the radiator! ken. Quote
